Paper Mario: Sticker Star

Protip: In the final form, use the Boom Box + 2 Megaflash Chillhammers to beat Bowser in one turn. Seriously, I used one damn Chillhammer and both his arms fell off because it causes like 300 damage.

No. That's another thing that this game did wrong; completely stripping him of his personality.

Yeah still though, it's a minor problem, this game still has the personality the series has already had.

No, it doesn't. That's exactly why I and many other people have been complaining about this game in the first place.

Psst, have you even played the game yet.
well I haven't but then I'm not judging sections that you can't judge before playing

The game doesn't exactly doesn't have much personality, as it only relies on obsession with paper and annoying gimmick of stickers.

Of course this comes from watching about an hour of sticker star LP's.

and from what i hear the game is even easier than spm, which is astoundingly stupid, considering that game requires absolutely no effort whatsoever.

Which is even more of a turnoff.

SPM wasn't exactly that easy, there were some really frustrating puzzles at times. (like the block puzzle).

It was only a week ago that I got a 3DS, so no, I haven't played the game yet, and I have little to no intention of ever doing so. There are times when playing a game in order to judge it isn't even necessary. It's easy to tell what a game is like by simply watching videos and seeing it in action, which I've done quite a few times already. Like I said a few pages ago, I tried to be as open-minded about this piece of crap as I possibly could, but I just didn't see anything likeable about it, plain and simple.

Although the game looks enjoyable I do say that they are areas that are missing in the game.

hahahha please that might have took like a few minutes at best. Even twilight princess had more time consuming puzzles.

But Twilight Princess was a great game.

I lol'd.

But that's off topic so eh.

The only thing I had trouble with in SPM was the final maze, and that's because it was completely random.

That was tough in my first run. When I replayed the game in another save file, I beat the whole game in two days.

Miyamoto has had many strange reasons for what he does. For example:
* The Chain Chomp was created when he was a kid and was almost attacked by a dog but was saved because it was chained to a post.
* His expeditions into the Kyoto countrysides basically was the catalyst to The Legend of Zelda.
* He was about to make Mario into a Centaur in Super Mario Bros. 3 before they settled with a Racoon power-up with limited flight abilities.
* The kooplings were based on seven different personalities of some of his workers.
* He wanted to have Ocarina of Time to be through Link's eyes so that we can see it like he does.

Miyamoto have very strange ways of seeing stuff, and a even stranger way for him to want to put in the game. Most of the time, his ideas don't go or are used at the beginning before changed because other people usually step in and revert his edits to it.

I feel that Paper Mario: Sticker Star was a game that Miyamoto had too much control over. He is wonderful at Platformer games and such, but is not that very good at making a Paper Mario game. I feel like he doubts the fan's opinion at times with stuff like this, and I feel that he focuses his time on trying to make Mario a "plotless game where you just run around and have fun." I understand that for NSMB series, but Mario isn't all about the platformers, and I wish that we can have that diverse definition of each series as their own unique aspect of Mario.

I'm still getting this game.

I mean, I liked all the paper marios so far, I don't see how this one could be too bad.
By removing pretty much everything that makes Paper Mario, Paper Mario?

People said that about Super Paper Mario. And it was still good.

Besides, I can't not like a game I haven't even played.
