Slim is used all of Merlee's Mansion minus 2-1, Dottie is used all over the caveman place for the fortress, Slim is used for quite a few other levels, so yeah. But Piccolo was kind of useless except for removing status conditions, and the Underwhere Chain Chomp.Gamefreak75 said:Half the Pixls were only used like twice or thrice anyways. Slim, Dottie if you didn't care about shopping at Itty Bits, and Piccolo come to mind. I guess Dashell could be considered useless as well, but I used him to get around Flopside and Flipside much faster.
Yeah, I mean, even though the Pixl's had zero to do with anything other than their powers after they were introduced, at least they had SOME personality hinted at. Not to mention, I suppose you could also count Peach, Bowser, and Luigi as partners in that game...Nabber said:I much preferred Pixls to no partners at all.
I've heard the scissors are quite effective against them and yes I do agree that there is not a lot of point the battle enemies.RandomYoshi said:I got this game yesterday, I've played it up until W2-3, and I have some questions. First off, is it really worth your time fighting all of these enemies? From what I've seen, fighting only yields coins, health and the occasional sticker, which you could have gotten by other means, anyway. And since there is no experience system, subsequently meaning you don't gain any experience by fighting enemies I feel that battling is pointless in this game. That and you just waste stickers every turn you want to do something, which is the dumbest thing ever. And what's with the fact that they don't provide tutorials or similar things for you if you want to train a specific battle command? Because I'd definitely like to have something like that.
Kersti made a comment about how I wasn't being effective about my sticker usage after having beaten the first boss. Is there really a way you can make your sticker usage more effective? Because if there is, please let me know.

So converting the things into rare stickers is the way to go? That doesn't sound very strategic to me.NSY said:I've heard the scissors are quite effective against them and yes I do agree that there is not a lot of point the battle enemies.RandomYoshi said:I got this game yesterday, I've played it up until W2-3, and I have some questions. Yeah, I thought that having no tutorials was very dumb.RandomYoshi said:And what's with the fact that they don't provide tutorials or similar things for you if you want to train a specific battle command? Because I'd definitely like to have something like that.

... How exactly are you meant to figure this out? Does the game explicitly tell you, or is it just a bunch of guesswork? In case that it's the latter, that's pretty god damn dumb.Yoshiquaker said:Yeah, I thought that having no tutorials was very dumb.RandomYoshi said:And what's with the fact that they don't provide tutorials or similar things for you if you want to train a specific battle command? And apparently every boss is weak to a certain Thing sticker from the same world. Otherwise, it's nearly impossible to kill them. (except for the boss of World 5, for some reason he was the easiest one...) Really lame.

Nabber said:From what I heard, you're just supposed to throw a bunch of random stickers and hope they work in this game.
Pretty much, just as the first three games apparently didn't matter in the least to Miyamoto.New Super Mario said:So what then, battling doesn't even matter?

Yeah, that pissed me off, too! I remember someone responded to me complaining about lack of EXP., but I can't really remember... Not to mention, thank GOD someone also had a problem with the action commands. Like, they give you NOT in-game instructions on what to do, and the fact that there are so many stickers means you basically have to use trial and error to figure out what does what, and how you go about doing more damage. There are STILL stickers that I have no idea how to get an "Excellent" for... Like the Eekhammer, no freaking clue what to do there...RandomYoshi said:I got this game yesterday, I've played it up until W2-3, and I have some questions. too late, i already replied with just "mario" in everythingGlowsquid said:better fill out those club nintendo surveys, then.
It's free. All you need is an e-mail to sign-up. You register your games and you get coins by registering them. You can use the coins to buy rewards and stuff.Nabber said:Exactly what is required to make a Club Nintendo account?
At least he listens to the fans, even if a lot of their ideas are shit.Solar Blaze said:If that's what it'll take, I'll gladly do it. Especially since I registered a Club Nintendo account the other day. But still... I can't believe Miyamoto actually entertained the thought of those surveys speaking for the entire fanbase.
