it DOES. I just noticed that. that means that the game won't probably take place in only france, which people guessed what was going to happen.
 
Nope, this Map only covers France, as I can see.
Additionally, I've noticed how Moire City (that city on these Scans) reflects Paris so much.
 
From what I see you can even customize your character.And ride-able Pokémon, place like France. This game looks awesome.

Anyway, this game looks pretty awesome. The news doesn't really reveal much, but we know that they're going to put this stuff up in English soon. Hopefully in a few hours? I dunno, but considering they're trying to make this international...

Because maybe people want to be able to be a little different than the default character.

I mean, that's like saying why people want to be Toad or Yoshi in a game of Mario Kart.

Besides, sometimes some of the characters have bad hairstyles, or can be seen as a little racist since they have only had white characters in all previous generations.
 
It doesn't look like you can change hairstyles - only hair and skin colour. Of course, that's just from what I see in the screenshot.

They probably have it to where you go step by step, so one is skin, one is her style, one is outfit, etc.
 
Which starter are you gonna get for it?

My first choice is Chespin, then Froakie, and finally Fennekin.
 
While still on the subject of the new Pokemon, I really love the design of the robin and the goat. The Panda looks cool, but the electric dog-lizard is meh. Then again, I wasn't really a fan of electric types aside from the Elekid evolutionary family.

Maybe I'll flip a coin between froakie and chespin. Fennekin is too overrated imo, and it's likely it'll end up as THE DREADED FIRE/FIGHTING COMBO OMGWTFNOWAYAHHHH

I agree with you. Although something about the bird seems wrong. I think the problem is it looks properly proportioned for once, as opposed to looking a lot larger than a normal bird.

The lizard-dog reminds me a lot of Mawile. It has the same colour scheme.
