Pokemon X and Pokemon Y

Did you get Yveltal yet?

Not yet. Unless the game throws a wrench into things, I'll probably have it by tonight.

EDIT: Never mind. I've got it now. The game gave me the option to use it after catching it, but I left it in the box and took care of Team Flare with the Pokémon I already had.

I think I know who it is already, there isn't much of a surprise there anyway. Pretty obvious who it is.

It's not obvious to the neighbor character, apparently.

It actually says that for a lot of Pokemon. It's a placeholder until they found how to truly get it.

It wouldn't surprise me if that actually did turn out to be true. IIRC, in HGSS the only way to get a Magnezone or Probopass was to trade one from Diamond/Pearl/Platinum since there was no electric cave. I would have thought that the Reflection cave would be the place to evolve it, but I guess it isn't.

It took me like an hour just to do that because I literally had to run into like 6 random Pokemon before one would show up.

Your hard work will pay off. Aegislash is a monster.

Just beat Team Flare, caught Xerneas (not really a spoiler), defeated the professor again, and on my way to the final gym. I may be overleveled. Keep in mind, I went back and caught a Mareep much later, so he's much lower.

Team:
Greninja (Lv. 62)
Gardevoir (Lv. 62)
Charizard (Lv. 63)
Gogoat (Lv. 63)
Tyrantrum (Lv. 63)
Ampharos (Lv. 47)

Being overleveled is not a bad thing, since the Elite Four typically uses higher leveled Pokemon, especially the Pokemon League Champion. Even if you think that your Pokemon are overleveled, they may actually be "underleveled" when you face the Champion.

About to pick up the final member of my team, Level 1 Noibat(Boomer)
Boomer... will live.

Now that I have beaten the 8th gym, here's my team.

Greninja (Lv. 66)
Gardevoir (Lv. 65)
Charizard (Lv. 67)
Gogoat (Lv. 66)
Tyrantrum (Lv. 66)
Ampharos (Lv. 55)

Not going to lie, I was really shocked how dark the story in this game became. Pokemon wars. Pokemon dying in the war and then a machine killing them all. That's deep stuff.

Lysandre's Mega Gyarados almost fucked me over. I didn't know that its typing changed to Water/Dark, so when my Aegislash used Shadow Claw on it, it did barely any damage. Then it proceeded to do Earthquake which took off 2/3 of its health. Immediately followed up with a Sacred Sword, which OK'oed it. It was glorious. Also Yveltal is amazing and I love its cry.

Are you using Mega Charizard or Mega Ampharos?

I was breeding for a Modest Litwick, and decided to wondertrade all the rejects. Got mostly shitmons like Bunnelby or the elemental monkeys, but I got a Trapinch with Pokerus, as well as a level 19 Braixen, which was pretty neat

Mega Charizard X

So what exactly does Charizardite X change about Charizard besides the new look? Its type?

Charizard becomes Fire/Dragon and gains the ability tough claws.

Beat the elite four and champion. Easy. There's something that caught me by surprise after I beat the champion.

At the celebration the huge man from before appears. You know, the one from the story you heard at Team flare's headquarters. He fights you. After you beat him, he is finally reunited with Floette.

Team:
Greninja (Lv. 74)
Gardevoir (Lv. 73)
Charizard (Lv. 74)
Gogoat (Lv. 74)
Tyrantrum (Lv. 74)
Ampharos (Lv. 66)

At the moment, I'm looking more forward to getting the Y version, as I think that I'd get more use out of Mega Charizard Y, and its Drought ability, and massive special attack stat.

lol I have all eight badges and have started Victory Road, and I just realized I forgot to get Rock Smash.

Agh, don't tell me useless Rock Smash is an HM again...

It's a TM.

EDIT: Just beat the Elite Four and the Champion. Wasn't expecting what happened after that. This might be my fastest time through one of these games.

Omg Bergmite is the cutest pokemon ever

Turns out I was (thankfully) wrong. Serebii has posted up that Magneton and Probopass evolve on Route 13.

Too late now. Ampharos has already joined my team and I've beaten the elite four.

After beating the Champion, you can go to Kiloude City and battle your rival. You get Absolite after that, and then you're told to go to Anistar City and meet the professor, and there, your Mega Ring is powered up so that you can locate Mega Stones, though only when the sundial or whatever gives off light, which the professor says is for an hour starting at 8 p.m.

beat the champ and I'll be honest, they were the last person I expected to be the champ
