Ah yes, I agree with that. I really want the character models to stop having blocks for hands. That's one of my graphical complaints about the Mario Kart series.

put in 8 different Honey Queen recolors
DO IT NINTENDO.

Best idea ever.

Only if every other character gets recolors, too.

Except Yoshi and Shy Guy, just to shake things up since they always get recolors

Re: Mario Kart Wii U

why is there a pink Fawful? :/

Re: Mario Kart Wii U

Don't know, this pic was the result of a quick Google Search lol

Maybe... Girls might possibly play this game, and girls always like pink? [/stereotype]

Re: Mario Kart Wii U

I don't think so; I just think pink Fawful is there because he's the manliest one.

That's similar to how Waluigi wasn't in MK7. We expected him and didn't receive and people were pissed.

I was 65% kidding in my post

I don't think they need bones, but more detailed hands would indeed be nice.

But you've seen that the models from the other Mario spin-offs have actual finger bones. I can't see why the Mario Kart models can't have that.

Re: Mario Kart Wii U

Well some spin-offs (maybe even the majority) have more than one models used. Mario Party 4-8 uses like three different character models for each character: a high-poly, mid-poly, and low-poly. Only the high poly uses bones for the fingers. So if Mario Kart were to use bones, it should be in the player character model. The NPCs can just remain blocks for hands.

For one, in MK they only need to hold a steer. Two, SMG uses different models for each hand pose. Three, NSMBWii uses detailed fists without bones.

Well, there's always the suggestion that Baby Luigi made, where only the human player racer gets the high polygon model, while the CPUs get the lower polygon models. The high polygon models would feature the finger bones that the low polygon models would not feature.

Besides, it just seems awkward to see a racer wave and still be making a fist.

Re: Mario Kart Wii U

They need to add Midbus, Fawful, and Dimentio.

'Nough send.

That would most likely be in your Dreams.

They should put most of the characters from Mario Kart Double Dash in.

Why not all?

Re: Mario Kart Wii U

I would like to see the gamepad actually have a purpose.like maybe you could toss a shell or banana in any direction with a touch or swipe on the gamepad.

Re: Mario Kart Wii U

Hopefully the gamepad will serve just as the bottom screen in the handheld Mario Karts (you know what I mean)

Question. How do I hold the A button and Control-stick and swipe at the same time?

Re: Mario Kart Wii U

Better motion controls?i really didn't want to say that because i wouldn't want it like Mario kart wii. that gets rid of the analog, for the a button, they could have the d pad be a secondary button for right handed people.now you are holding right on the d pad and can steer, and your right hand can use the touch screen.that is my thought.
