Mario Kart 8 / Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Re: Mario Kart 8

Birdo is only acceptable if she gets a female voice. I am sick of seeing this pink thing with a bow having a male-sounding voice.

Re: Mario Kart 8

>birdo is a man

also assumed to be yoshi's female partner in many games, plus birdo was madly in love with popple in m&lss. I think the whole man idea was scrapped long ago. Anyway, Birdo isn't really a dealbreaker for me, that would be honey queen but I strongly hope that the RPG's get a representative this time. Also Wart or maybe Tatanga because they haven't appeared in ages and it would actually be unique, rather than the expected new platform character and "established" character.

Re: Mario Kart 8

Now that I think about it, the Brawl trophy calls Birdo 'it', so it's gender is up to the viewer. I like to think he's a man because that's what he begun as. I don't think I've seen them say Birdo is Yoshi's female partner, just that they partner up in some games. Not to mention Yoshi; supposed to be male, lays eggs.

I do understand you very very very strongly want RPG characters but don't get your hopes up. That's what happened with the Mario Tennis Open QR codes, people wanted entire characters to be unlockable that way (Which would have been the same as saying fuck you to anybody who couldn't access the codes) and were dissapointed.

If they do get in that's fine, lucky you. If they don't then don't complain, their chances aren't great to begin with.

I don't mind Birdo's voice, he is supposed to be a man dressed as a girl after all.
In current official data it's not saying that "he/she" is a guy or girl anymore. We just simply say that dinasoaurs don't have specific gender. If Nintendo have no clear announcement, surmise means nothing.

I can only say none of them are the current official main characters since they dissapear for time. Before being put in a new spinoff, they should return in major games or RPGs to show their presence.
In a similar case, Koopalings precede because they've got an official big comeback.

Never really liked Coin Runners. I think Bob-Omb battle needs to return. (Not the "only bombs" option, I am talking about the one in Double Dash)

I wish if they had balloon battle as it was in DD and DS. Untimed, Last one standing, option to play with CPUs or online.

Best roster I've seen here.

Re: Mario Kart 8

Magikoopa and E.Gadd deserve a spot in MK8.
I mean, Magikoopa was scrapped from MK64, and has never been Announced since, while E.Gadd was scrapped from MKDS, and has never been Announced since.

this is good roster

maybe add a generic Luma or Lubba and E. Gadd it would be perfect imo

Re: Mario Kart 8

It wouldn't make to much difference, they're both Lightweight.

Re: Mario Kart 8

Nintendo announced there will be a Anti-Gravity feature. This seems really good as you can drive up walls now which is pretty cool.

Re: Mario Kart 8

In my opinion, it's pretty confusing.
I didn't play the game yet, but still, rating the Videos, it's confusing the crap out of me.

3 - I agree for the most part with your guess, but Boom Boom and the Pom Pom are a no no. I would be very dissappointed with Nintendo if they did that, and they don't even make sense for them to be in the game.

I wanted to have some new heavyweight characters and I wanted one to be female. I don't like the fact Rosalina is a heavyweight. It doesn't make sense! I never liked the idea of Honey Queen being a character. She wasn't a very significant part of the Galaxy games. Pom Pom, however, appeared significantly in SM3DL.

Re: Mario Kart 8

Neither I didn't get why Rosalina was a heavyweight.
In the end, we females get insulted if we are classified as heavy in any way.

because there obviously don't exist any heavier women. of course not.

Technically, Rosalina has never been classified as being a heavyweight in her Mario Kart appearances. At the highest, she's been in the Cruiser weight class (MK7), and the Large size class (MKWii).

Amusingly, Waluigi is a middleweight character in Double Dash!! and MKDS, despite of his tall frame, but he is a Large sized character in MKWii.

fat bitch class in mario kart
I think MK7 had the best weight class organization because people like Diddy Kong, Waluigi, etc are kinda in the middle of two weight classes.

Re: Mario Kart 8

Yeah I thought Bowser Jr. was way too small to be a middleweight in Mario Kart Wii :P
