All I want is Bowser Jr, and make him NOT annoying to unlock thank you very much.
Nintendo, you should be ashamed to ask me to get a star in all four retro cups in Mario Kart Wii. In fact, if you can, don't make him unlockable since he wasn't in Double Dash.

It's not ridiculous, but I don't like it because I am lazy. In fact, I stopped playing Mario Kart Wii because unlocking characters became boring and repetitive, especially if you fail to meet the conditions several times.Anna said:

Unlocking characters in Mario Kart games is like a walk in the park. I don't see any reason to change it.

I would find it interesting if the way to unlock things was more unique such as hitting X racers with Red Shells. Play as certain characters in certain courses during VS mode. Use the Bullet Bill X amount of times during Grand Prix. Get hit by your own item X amount of times. And then the basics, get a star or higher in certain cups, do X amount of races in VS. Collect X amount of Coins. I would actually like this way, it reminds of what they did in Paper Mario: TTYD in the Glitz Pit where you had to do something specific during battle, it would be a neat twist.
X represents numbers.

Got tired of MK7 as there were many tracks I just did not like, and I felt that the courses were too slow/short. I didn't even get 10,000 coins, because I just gave up after awhile.
I definitely wish that you could have holded more coins instead of having to do 1,000 races, when all of them probably wouldn't have 10 coins, because even though it holds up to 10 and you can't get more, one hit knocks you to 7, especially if it was towards the end of the race and you couldn't get them all.
If you did each course almost equally, then that means that you would have played 8 of them 32 times and 24 of them 31 times.
It was just a pain in the ass to do it, and I definitely don't want that to happen in this new Mario Kart game.

I never played Mario Kart 7, mostly because I am not into the portable Mario Kart games. I feel that even when they introduce new things, they still offer a watered down experience. I can excuse this since they are handhelds that can't hold as much content as a console game, but still. For example, this game has a lack of character variety and the unlockable characters are just terrible (Honeyqueen and Metal Mario? REALLY?!)
I never played Mario Kart 7, mostly because I am not into the portable Mario Kart games. I feel that even when they introduce new things, they still offer a watered down experience. I can excuse this since they are handhelds that can't hold as much content as a console game, but still. That's not the only reason, the other reason is that it just doesn't appeal to me, I would rather play Mario Kart 8. I am more into the console Mario Kart games anyway. I never played Super Curcuit, or DS.
