7 really did kind of disappoint me. Bare-bones roster, lackluster Battle Mode and no single-player VS. At least the stages were good.

I thought the battle mode was hilarious in Mario Kart 7, and it DID introduce bob-ombs only battles

That was kinda cool, I must admit. They also brought back free-for-all, which is nice. I'm talking about stage selection.

The Bob-omb Blast battle from Double Dash!! should really come back. After all, being able to hold up to five Bob-ombs can really lead to some chaotic matches.

Yeah but it's not short and dependent on how much times you blow up the other guy

You can also do shells, bananas, and mushrooms only. My primarily form of battle is shells only. However, the Lucky Seven there can just burn in Big Donut.

The Bob-omb Blast battle from Double Dash!! should really come back. After all, being able to hold up to five Bob-ombs can really lead to some chaotic matches.

I am (and many others) sure that the Wii U can handle this but it would be another disappointment if Bob-omb Blast was not included. Lets at least hope we get to choice items to use in Battle Mode.
