Because excluding them, Mario Kart 7 is the 7th title of the Mario Kart series

Ah yes I remember the times when I was just 11 years old

...sorry I don't know how you can convince your parents to buy an expensive heaping piece of technology. You can wait until the games come out, though, since right now, there are barely any games for it.

I was planning to buy a Wii U for my 15th birthday (last year) but it postponed because it's very expensive (in Australia). And also I have many game consoles (My Famicom, PS2, 2 DSi, Wii, 3DS and an Xbox 360)

Maybe my parents would buy it someday in April if I'm lucky.

I'm 13 and my parents pretty much let me buy what I want. I have over $2000 in cash reserves from birthdays and gifts.
