Hey guess what, loads of people at my school have an Xbox 360.
Because your school totally makes up the entire population.

Remember, every continent has fanboys, fangirls, and haters for everything.
I didn't say nobody in Europe wants to have an Xbox 360 at all, I said the most people aren't likely to get it.
I live in the same country as you do, and most people I meet with, either have just Nintendo's, just PlayStations, or have a PC or PS3 while being Nintendo fans.
The second one is the most common, sometimes people only have an Xbox 360 too, but I only met such people who were around the age of 9.

well, i didn't really know that. thanks for the information!

How many people have you met?

I honestly don't think that's a unique feature to it that they intentionally "copied". If it was a copy of it, I think they'd have it be an attachment for the Xbox that stream voices and music while you play, not a console that just has being online as a form of protection.

It's really obscure and probably not very successful, so I don't think that's something they would want to copy, anyway.

Actually, it is "a bit" obscure but it did do pretty well in Japan.

The real comparison I was trying to put on the two systems is that the XBOX will be worthless and you won't be able to use it anymore once it becomes obsolete and old.

The Wii U and PS4 will still be able to be used even after years in the future. The only thing that won't be available are some of the online features and probably the downloadable games. (Although I don't really think nintendo will ever shut down the wii shop channel, nintendo dsi shop or nintendo eshop and I don't think sony will ever shut down their PS shop thing)

Nah, the 360 is way more popular than the Wii at the moment.
Only because a load of people get the console just to play Call of Duty. I'm pretty sure if the series didn't exsist the Wii would a lot more popular.

That's just stupid, the PS3 & Wii both have the CoD games.

Or because the Wii is at the end of its life cycle, whereas the 360 is still in the relative middle?

GreenDisaster, how can I count all that, after 21 and a half years of my life?

When you look at it though most people play it on HD consoles.

PS3 is also a HD console. Don't blame the Wii beginning to decline in sales on a single game series, the Wii is at its end and a lot of people probably already have one by now.

The Wii version is bad, and most people already had an Xbox for games like Halo prior to COD

I only know two people in real life who own a Wii U, one of which doesn't care of it and just plays Black Ops II on his Xbox.

wii versions are shit. the new ones on the wii u are made more in line with the xbox/ps3 versions

And where's the evidence that the Wii versions were bad, I heard they are the same just with downgraded graphics.

no dlc, for one

no voice communication for two

no on-line co op for three

no nazi zombies in WaW for four

no split screen multiplayer for five

bad graphics for six

you can probably look up more reasons. where are you 'hearing' these things from

From what I've heard, NSY has the right idea; controls are different, but still good, and gameplay is the same. The only difference is a lower quality in graphics.

i'm not a big fan of dlc in the first place, so that doesn't really affect me

not to mention all but one of the wii ports are not even made by the same developer

And that makes a difference because...?

it means they're clearly not 'the same but with worse graphics'

are you dense

They cut a lot of content due to limitations (levels, online features, etc.), like Martini said. It's not just "fanboyism" causing players to not prefer the Wii version.

And why would Microsoft want to rip that off?

Because, the BS-X satellaview required a lot of equipment (that works similar to the internet or TV) to play the game and without that equipment you can not even use the system. The game also requires you to download the games at a certain time or you won't be able to get the game at. The Xbox One requires internet and if you don't log on every single day, you can't play your game.

That's a rather weak comparison. The Satellaview was an add-on designed to cheaply distribute content and add features not possible on a stock SNES, while the Xbox1 looks like to be an attempt to make a (not quite) All-In-1 cable box with a liberal heaping of draconian DRM. About the only point of similarity I can see is that, if Xbox1-exclusive games rely as much as farming out some of the processing to the POWER OF CLOUD as Microsoft hypes it, some games might not be playable in 15-20 years, just as some Satellaview games will likely never be playable due to the nature of the radio-delivery system.

re Wii CODs derail: For what it's worth, I've seen peoples on Neogaf and other sites call Wii Black ops the "definitive version" of the game based on the strenght of the motion controls and how well everything else was carried over. I doubt it's a significant minority, though.
