Xbox One

I heard original Wii is only 1.5 times powerful than GCN.
Bad compared as Xbox 360 and PS3. For the reason Wii couldn't attend it.
If multiplatform games have announced, hopefully Wii U could attend it from like Sixth generation. (PS2, GC, Xbox)

Yeah, now that we know the Xbone is less powerful than the PS4, it's safe to say that porting between the 3 platforms will be more easier.

Well, the Xbox One came out today. I don't really care, but I just thought that should be said here anyways. :P

I'm not interested in either the XB1 or the PS4, but from what I've read, the PS4 seems to be getting the most acclaim out of the 3 current 8th-gen consoles.

Well the Xbox One does seem quite good even though it went though a tough build up.

Well I guess they could've waited a whole year. Well, Mario and Zelda are probably in the top of Nintendo's lineup. It may have deterred a few hundred. Maybe.
I'm just saying, if anything it hurt Nintendo more than it helped them. If they would have waited a week it probably would have been better.

I didn't hurt Nintendo. I know of a lot of people that solely went to the midnight release to only get those games and not an Xbox 1.

Plus, it deterred unsure people that $500 for a console like that or $130 for three games that are top notch, and really did a lot for Nintendo. Besides, Nintendo lovers are going to get those games anyways, so having the Xbox 1 selling won't really affect much of Nintendo's profits like that.

But the thing for that first part is I'm guessing that all the people you know are Nintendo fans.

If someone was a fan of both Nintendo and Xbox, the console is going to stick out a lot more than a couple of Nintendo games.

It's also going to cost a lot more. $130 for 3 Games > $500 for 1 Console. As far as I know, the Xbox One doesn't have too many compelling games right now but that's subjective.

If someone doesn't want to spend too much money then the games are the way to go. Outside of that, you have people that are going specifically for the games, the console or both. People who have their minds made up aren't swayed easily, they know what they want and they're going there to get it. This conversation is just about the indecisive minority, so the majority aren't going to look at the Xbox One and say 'fuck these games I came here for, lets buy this expensive console' on impulse and vice versa.

Many fans of Xbone are probably not fans of Nintendo and the other way around. No way can Nintendo release Mario games that deter a significant amount of people from buying the Xbone.

That being said, I want to see how the Xbone is doing right now.

Note that I didn't say everyone.

Note that I said "probably", too.

Gee, I wonder what games they're going to play with it.

Dead Rising 3, I dunno. Or games like AC4 and COD. Let's be honest, this 'no games' thing happens to EVERY console when it launches. There's no point in making fun of it.

Well, the Wii U and the 3DS (initially) faltered because of no games, so why did Xbone sold a lot? I guess Xbone can be used to watch TV when there are no games.
