Giga, how can you judge the stages when for the most part you haven't even seen the full stage?

I am still waiting to see what Garden of Hope looks like in full.

basically confirming that there's two different version of the boxing ring stage, although interestingly enough the screen provided of the WBVA version doesn't seem to have Little Mac in it, so looks like it's not an Alfonso type deal

Maybe it's a Mushroomy Kindgom kind of thing. Hold a button in and you get the smash bros. version.

Yeah, just like holding in a certain button with Samus will give you Zero Suit Samus.

I think it's the R button on the gamecube controller.

I don't know if it's very likely to get three characters in one Month

Ok Brawl had October 2007 where Lucas, Sonic, and King Dedede were revealed. But I don't know about Smash 4.

Also I'd think Mewtwo would be in a Nintendo Direct or E3. Because somehow I see Mewtwo getting a trailer even if he counts as a veteran. Cause it seems everybody and their dog wants Mewtwo back. It'd be a special case like Sonic was.

yeah if mewtwo is returning (he most likely is) he'd certainly show up in a direct or at e3. if we were to get a pokemon character, i would expect jigglypuff (she's most likely not going anywhere at this point, get over it), but i doubt we'd get three reveals in one month right now. a stage however would not surprise me and i'm personally hoping we do see one

Yeah, not expecting a character reveal. The fact that we haven't seen a Pokemon stage yet makes me think that will be shown tomorrow. Probably Pokemon Stadium 3.

So Little Mac's barrage that lead into an uppercut is now explained, that's cool. In fact, in Brawl, Sakurai made it so that you could just hold down the A button to do a combo, and now he added a finisher to the combo! I like these new things he keeps adding to each installment (that isn't tripping).

Waluigi is back as an assist trophy. I guess that rules out any more Mario characters as being playable, and Sakurai's caption pretty much says it all:

fyi waluigi had almost no chance of being playable so this doesn't concern me. Glad he's back and not replaced with a different Mario assist trophy.

From the moment Rosalina was revealed, I think all possible Mario newcomer's chances basically got a shot to the head. But still a shame for Waluigi. Maybe he'll finally have a game he stars in by the next Smash Bros. comes along and he could bring a solid dose of WAAAAAAAA to Smash Bros. eventually.
