why do you guys even like them?
jigglypuff is taking up a pokemon rep spot that could easily be filled by, well, practically any other pokemon!
as for ice climbers, unless they get a game soon they're just a relic that were included for who-knows-why. i'd much rather have a more relevant character.

i don't care if ice climbers aren't "relevant" because i don't want every single character to be "relevant". it's nice to have a few older characters. besides, they're among the more unique characters in the game.
as for jiggs i admittedly would rather have meowth but it's too late now. but i'd still put her in over almost any other pokemon personally

She is even more relevant now because of the typing change,
She's been in 3 games now.
She kicks ass in Melee.

Melee is still the go to Smash game for the community. It's more relevant than Brawl right now.

Why even think of dropping the Ice Climbers? They have a unique playstyle, and if your argument is for the casual player, I doubt the casual players would care how relevant they are as long as they are fun to play as, and they are because they're unique.
And you're arguing about character slots??? Dude, no characters take up slots. They either make it in or not. End of story. Nintendo can fit whatever much characters they want. Memory is their last problem with it comes to character slots. And if there isn't enough room? They'll make the disc dual-layered, like in Brawl.
