I'd love that, and it will bring so much more satisfaction in KOing Ganondorf, Wario, and Donkey Kong. :mario:

Say, given that the Yellow Devil appeared at the end of Megaman's trailer. Does this mean each character will have an exclusive boss from their series to fight in the midst of their stories?

Ex: Sonic against one of Eggman's old creations, Olimar against a Giant Bulborb, etc.

What's this stage supposed to be? It's from a handheld game since it's on the 3DS version, but I don't know. Kind of looks like something out of Donkey Kong.

I'm convinced that boxing ring is a Punch-Out! stage, and Little Mac's eventual reveal will just confirm that

On the wiki it's called a DKCR stage I think, I also think it looks like something from Donkey Kong. Looks more like adventure mode though since Mario ripped from the bottom to out the top in a second or two.

Also those images look great. The boxing ring IMO is more likely to be the new smash bros universe stage of this game then a Punch-Out stage.

I'm with Xpike on this one. It'd be dumb to include a boxing ring and not have it reference a beloved classic franchise that also got a very well-received reboot a few years back. The Smash logo in the center doesn't necessarily mean anything; the ring logo changes as you progress through the circuits in the Wii Punch-Out.

And if I had to guess, that DKCR stage looks to be from the Ruins area.

I find it odd they put it on the 3DS version rather than on the Wii version considering it came out on Wii first. Oh well, hope that means the Wii U version gets a different stage, which would be awesome.

plus the wii is outdated compared with the wii u and even the 3DS
