No. Blaziken had a Mega Evolution because Gamefreak bleeps on balance it is a popular Pokemon
 
Don't you get a Johto starter at the end of the original Ruby and Sapphire? If so, megas for the Johto starters are a very real possibility.
 
You can get one in Emerald by completing the Hoenn Pokedex.

The next batch of CoroCoro information has been posted to Japanese forums and this batch showcases more information about the upcoming game Pokémon Omega Ruby & Alpha Sapphire. This reveals Mega Altaria, who is Dragon/Fairy with Pixilate and Mega Lopunny who is Normal/Fighting with Scrappy. It also confirms that when you change your Pikachu's clothes for contests, it gets special moves. Pikachu Rock Star gets the move Meteor Mash, Pikachu Ph. D. knows Electric Terrain, Pikachu Pop Star knows Draining Kiss, Pikachu Belle knows Icicle Crash and Pikachu Libre knows Flying Press

Mega Altaria looks absolutely gorgeous. Like I can imagine someone saying "they look to similar", but I disagree. Really great looking.

Probably stemming more from my indifference towards Lopunny in the first place, but this design just looks weird. Regular Lopunny looks a lot better to me

Mega Salamence is soooo sleek looking. Salamence's design sort of bothered me since I sort of thought they were slightly too bulky, but Mega Salamence fixed that. Plus, look at those wings. Different, but I love them.
 
Mega Altaria is beautiful, now I hope it will be a good Pokémon. Dragon/Fairy is a cool typing.

Mega Lopunny is good, I like it.

Mega Salamence is the most ridiculous mega evolution so far. Seriously it looks like a missile.
 
Anyways, my thoughts:

Mega Altaria as Dragon/Fairy is actually pretty good. Removes the double ice weakness and weakness to rock in exchange for a weakness to poison and steel, which isn't bad. Also, it helps that Altaria is like one of the only non-fairy types to learn Moonblast.

Mega Lopunny is just...odd. I never really liked Lopunny because I thought it was a dumb Pokemon and it isn't that good, although the added Fighting type would be great because it learns Jump Kick (I think it might learn HJK too? I forget). But what's with the ripped nylon stockings or whatever they're called. As if there needed to be another reason for more "fanart" of this Pokemon...

Mega Salamence looks great, in my opinion. It's literally a boomerang now and it's amazing. Considering that I've heard that Mega Pinsir is a god because of the Aerilate ability, I assume Salamence would but it to even better use. STAB Sword Danced Returns...

For Pikachu, I think it's pretty neat they get exclusive moves, but of course the one I liked the most (Pikachu PHD) gets a shit-tier move with Electric Terrain. Why...? Why not give it something useful like Nasty Plot at the very least or any other "brainy-themed" moves? So dumb.

At least it confirms that the clothes changing option is back. Also shiny Beldum is amazing.
 
Mega Altaria is....basically Altaria with more clouds. Not too bad.

Mega Lopunny doesn't really look 'Mega' enough. It could be a regular Pokemon, imo.

Mega Salamence is actually quite cool. Considering its whole evolution line is about it wanting to fly, the aerodynamic pose is appropriate. Kinda reminds me of Mega Lati@s. Speaking of, when are we going to get that?

@Magolor: Unfortunately, it seems like the clothes changing is only for the Contests. Kinda like Pokestar Studios.

You know, if they made a side-game that was as enjoyable as the main game, they wouldn't need to keep experimenting with different styles. Contests, the Pokeathlon, Entralink, Pokestar Studios...they keep trying new stuff, but they never keep them.
 
Apparently:

Mega Altaria attack will increase.
Mega Lockpin attack and special attack increase.

If it's true than Altaria will be good with Dragon Dance and Return being Fairy type with a power of 204. Plus it learns Earthquake to counter Pokémon who resist Fairy.

mega altaria has too much swag to be legally acceptable, this is beyond obscene for nintendo
