Also you forgot to mention that Yoshi has claims to several islands. So yeah Yoshis probably the most vain of the bunch.

Because one boss fight isn't motivation enough for me to just play through the game.

Mind you, I don't think it's a bad game per se. It's that it's simply not for me. I don't find much of the game intriguing.
