Look at it! Look at it! LOOK AT IT!

Oh in case you're wondering, mods aren't screwing with those models. I can take similar pictures using without any mods aside from obviously the free-moving camera.

Man that new exercise regimen Dedede took is going a bit too far.

Yet another unrealistic expectation for women.

I'm sorry

what the actual *bleep* is this animation

The way the camera zooms into the characters while they grunt makes the earlier scene dramatic yet not-so-serious, which makes this all the funnier.

I wonder why Toad is doing the air quotes when he's talking about the Party Cube. That was weird.

Thank you for reading.
Look at how stiffly Mario hops at the beginning.

This looks like it was created in Source Filmmaker.

There's something unnatural about the unused facial expressions from the Mario concept art from Next Level games, but that's only because I am not used to seeing the various characters making a wider variety of facial expressions. The smug expressions are, in particular, very strange:

(The smug expression is dubbed as the "Dreamworks face" due to Dreamworks Animations' tendency to give their main characters smug expressions in promotional art)

Unfortunately we didn't get to see every character, because I would like to see Mario, Donkey Kong and Bowser Jr. (and if possible Toad, Birdo and Koopa Troopa) doing those faces.

I do hope that the idea of Mario characters being very expressive becomes realised, because these are amazing!

Thank you for reading.

Luigi looks way too cool. It’s not a surprise it didn’t make it to the final version of the game.

Supper Mario Broth had a upload of the head charts that had Bowser Jr. among others, but took it down for some reason.

Birdo's also there, but she doesn't do the Dreamworks face unfortunately.
Also, Junior's fang is in his mouth in these charts/this game unlike every other one where it sticks out.

Ah, so a Bowser Jr. version exists after all! That means there are sheets of facial expressions for the following: Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, Princess Daisy, Diddy Kong, Bowser Jr., Yoshi, Shy Guy, Birdo, Hammer Bro. and Petey Piranha. We are missing Mario, Peach, Donkey Kong, Bowser, Toad, Koopa Troopa, Monty Mole, Boo and Dry Bones thus far.

Thank you for reading.

I understand why the Dreamworks face is used a lot, it's a lot of fun making that facial expression

Something about this guy always seemed off to me.
What are you talking about?
That is a totally trustworthy, Honest-Car-Dealership face.

I too though find him knida off, but I don’t know why at all.

He looks a little stoned.

It's those eyes with the combination of that grin. They look horrible on an Orca.

For comparison, look at this orca
