Me too, it would boost the chances of a new or returning villain besides him to appear.

More likely you'll just fight Bowser with Bowser.
That would be the ultimate proof that they don't give a crap about the wealth of characters in the Mario franchise just begging to be used, if they resort to creating duplicates rather than something that makes more sense. King Boo would do nicely, but there are others who are more overdue for an appearance.

Petey Piranha?

She would actually make for a nice boss, actually. She's overdue for something bigger than a role in a Mario Party game.

Or that they just didn't bother programming in a replacement. Not that it would surprise me PnD has many aspects in common with pokemon.

Like being playable in Mario Kart.

I like the idea of King Boo being the main villain. He's sinister, has a cool design (in Luigi's Mansion), and works well as the final boss.

Only when Bowser isn't around

From the looks of this game, if King Boo were to appear they'd probably go with his lame design.

Because its quicker to just take boo and slap a crown on it.

Is there really any difference from Dark Moon King Boo from the Big King Boo other than the eyes, blue mouth, and crown?

Yeah I know, the original Luigi's Mansion King Boo had only two teeth, but the more modern one looks more like a regular Boo than that.

No, but still prefer the blue mouth and dark eyes and what not.

I like lame King Boo more.

Thats an unpopular opinion if I ever heard one.

I feel like the Luigi's Mansion King Boo doesn't mesh well with the Mario characters.

lol that's even worse

He has glowing eyes and a really darkish face in general. Too ghoulish for a Mario character, so I think it's good that he's been toned down in the other spinoff titles.

If you say so, doesn't look all that out of place to me, especially with things like dry Bowser.

Dry Bowser doesn't have the shady-looking eyes, nor does he have a blue tongue. Anything creepy Dry Bowser has to offer is offset by his cow sounds anyway.

If this is true, why does Mario Sport Mix has the behemoths? I know they are not from the Mario series but they make King Boo and Dry Bowser cuddly as kittens.

Yet another reason why Geno and Mallow would've made far more sense.

No, not really.

Besides its not like you are playing as the Behemoths.

well the reason luigi's mansion king boo has darker skin is because of the lighting they were going for in the game

they would've fixed him up if they took his design elsewhere
