Is this some kind of randomness like Peach having it with Birdo?
 
Well Peach and Birdo were enemies briefly. Maybe they never got over it?

As for Rosalina, I dunno, probably wouldn't do it that way.

-3 in Super Mario 3D World (Piranha Creeper Creek After Dark) can go to hell. I'm playing through the game again and trying to get all the green stars before moving on to the next level, and I was just reminded why I gave up on unlocking World

last playthrough. I really hate how few Fire Flowers are in the level and how many tricky shots are required to get the stars, all without losing the fire flower.
 
The level has "bahs" which I swear is to taunt you.

There are some other odd chemistry moments as well. For one example, Birdo and Blooper don't go well together.

Anyway, some of my bad chemistry inputs for Rosalina would make sense, since she has a bad relationship with Bowser. Also, despite only having neutral chemistry with the Kong family members, Rosalina would show negative chemistry towards King K. Rool, presumably because of his bad reputation as a tyrant; the same goes for King Boo as well.

Tied with Baby Peach, Blue Magikoopa, Blue Yoshi and Green Magikoopa for the worst batting stat. They are all weaker than Goomba.

Petey shares good chemistry with Birdo, but bad chemistry with Daisy and Baby Daisy.

Tiny Kong shares bad chemistry with Birdo.

Dry Bones and Dixie Kong share bad chemistry with each other.

King Boo and King K. Rool share good chemistry with each other

Daisy shares bad chemistry with Hammer Bro and its other variants.

Waluigi shares bad chemistry with Birdo.

Donkey Kong and Petey share good chemistry, but only in Mario Superstar Baseball. They are neutral in Super Sluggers. This also applies to Wario and Boo, Waluigi and Magikoopa as well as Goomba and Diddy Kong.

I also find it dumb that Peach and Luigi don't share good chemistry with each other in Super Sluggers, but they do in Superstar Baseball.
 
Wario and Waluigi pretty much have the worst chemistry distribution of all team captains, only having positive chemistry with each other. Of course, some team players have limited chemistry as well, such as the Kritters, where they only have good chemistry with K. Rool and certain Mii colors.
 
I wouldn't be surprised if they removed chemistry for future installments

Makes around as much sense as a baby being able to lift a bat and scorning a home run with it.
 
It also asks the question about how a Goomba can use a bat and glove without any hands. And to add to the weirdness, pitching and fielding are the Goomba's best stats in Super Sluggers.
 
People have been trying to make sense from Mario titles and constantly failing. So there's that.

It's very clear that Goombas are more powerful than we ever anticipated.

They can use telekinesis
 
Bullet Bills are stage hazards/a special move for Bowser and...can Cheep Cheeps really hold anything. Goombas can at least work, but won't Cheep Cheeps look really awkward? It's probably a similar reason there are no Buzzy Beetles/Spinies playable.
 
We have Blooper playable. I think Cheep Cheep can work, and I won't complain about a Cheep Cheep playable. It just doesn't seem that outstanding and at the same time not WTF enough.
