post any random Mario thought on your mind

64 and Sunshine basically had large overworlds (Peach's Castle and Isle Defino) that branched off to smaller overworlds. It's hard to tell exactly what approach Odyssey will take in terms of connecting its worlds together.

The first one. It's hideously designed.
What makes you say that? It has a bunch of challenges of with various obstacles in a linear fashion. I don't especially see how it's badly designed.

When I mean by hideously designed, I mean it looks like it was designed by a first-timer level creator who wanted to show off the world of his lol tough difficult level. It's ugly to look at, there's no semblance of any sort design elements aside from poorly stitched together levels with no cohesion whatsoever, and of course, all of the levels are strung together so the level is artificially long, with no checkpoints, and thus "challenging".

I mean, just look at it

I can design levels with loads of empty space and minimal platforms to make platforming challenging.

If you want a better comparison of a challenging platforming level done correctly, look no further than Rayman's Land of the Livid Dead levels. They're challenging, but also beautifully designed.

I think it is too, but it's not much better. Especially with that dash panel segment. Any person can design dash panels floating in the middle of nowhere with sentry beam guys in them. It really does look like newbie's first challenging level.

Grandmaster Galaxy is at least a perfect representation of outer space: having huge amounts of nothingness.

In regards to the Grandmaster Galaxy, there are checkpoints for the first Power Star. It's not until you try to acquire the second Power Star, that things start to get very ugly.

They should just rename Grandmaster Galaxy to "Skybox Galaxy" because that's really all it is.

If you say so. I'm not really a good critic of level design. *shrug*

All MK7 files can be extracted easily since a long time ago , though not everything is editable yet.

If a true sequel to Mario Super Sluggers is made, Rosalina is pretty much guaranteed to be in it. But my question is, how would her chemistry be distributed between the veterans? Here are my predictions:

Positive:
Mario
Luigi
Toad
Peach (possibly)

Bad:
Bowser
Bowser Jr
Magikoopa

Lumas need to be a playable subcharacter and have good chemistry with Rosalina.

I find it funny that Waluigi is a weaker batter than Daisy, Tiny Kong and every colored Toad in Mario Super Sluggers. His batting stat is equal to Peach's.

My thoughts would be as follows...

Note: Italic text means newcomer.

Good
Mario
Luigi
Peach
Yoshi
Toad
Toadette
Toadsworth
Pianta
Noki
Luma
Polari
Lubba

Bad
Birdo
Wario
Waluigi
Bowser
King K. Rool
King Boo
Petey Piranha
Dry Bowser

Neutral
Everyone else
