post any random Mario thought on your mind

I think I've recalled reading that Metroid: Other M has a very messy ISO setup as well.

If anything , i just hope it's similar to Mario Hoops 3 on 3 , that game has some crazy compression BUT the sound data is untouched.

Im really sad that SPP sound data has a .bin extention , literally dont know how to work around that.

i just realised that music can be customized too in Star Rush.

Well hello Classic Mario Party tunes!

I will probably put Bowser's Magma Mountain music for the Bowser Boards

And i will definetely add this somewhere

One of the few things MP9 did right

And you thought Super Mario Maker was bad.
I've seen worse.

Like that Smash Bros. animation swap where there is Rosalina shaking her booty and saying "Mmm-hmm" and Peach is pole dancing and says "Lalalalala".

Were you the one who posted those before? But I'll have say I disagree. The SM3DW Skinny Mario is worse.

There's is also a moveset animation where Luigi turns characters he grabs, twisting their limbs and all, into rocket ships.

it would have been amazing if you quoted that completely , i have posted many things and i dont know what you are refering to.

If you don't know which one I quoted just click the information about the quoted post and it'll tell you what it said. But since I'm here, I was talking about the custom music in Star Rush that you were talking about.

I see.

In any case , if you actually read my previous post , it was clear i was talking about modding the game.

You can unpack the sound data and replace sfx and maybe music , just like in MK7.

I think you were confused.

Um yes i did?

My whole reason to talk about Star Rush in all my previous posts was because i was able to extract Rosalina's voice clips and also REPLACE them like in MK7.

Besides all the talk about game file formats.

It was pretty clear where i was going with this.

-------------------------------

So Anyway , it's all done by replacing files , the end.

I'd say there's a perfectly reasonable explanation for this, but frankly, the context doesn't help.
Acid reflux dream?

This is adorable.

heh, Bowser's phone has a Peach wallpaper. This video also reveals that Bowser Jr.'s favorite game is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and that his second favorite is Splatoon 2. You learn something new every day...

Here's some food for thought. Why do we (by which I mean everyone, even Nintendo) treat the names of in-game species like proper nouns, rather than common nouns as we would real life creatures?

Don't know what I mean? Check these pairs of sentences out.

I saw Carlos riding a horse.
I saw Mario riding a Yoshi.

The snail had a nice looking shell.
The Koopa had a nice looking shell.

Capitalization is used on generic species when not referring to a specific character (e.g., Goombella), and this kinda exacerbates the problem with discerning Toad and Yoshi from other members of their respective races. We say Toads and Yoshis, rather than toads and yoshis. But why is that, I wonder?

I know why. It's uh from a...legal copyright standpoint rather than canonically though.

Also, toads can be confused with the amphibian version of them.

If that were true, though, then everyone's names would have trademarks and copyright logos next to her, just as you see in promotional material.

Of course he loves Splatoon. He gets to do what he did to Delfino Island in-game all the time.

Yeah but those characters are clearly proper nouns, which indicates they are fictional entities made up by something. I don't think Mario is the only franchise that does this; for example, Left 4 Dead 2's special infected are also spelled with capital letters such as Smoker, Tank, Boomer, etc. And I could go on all day about Pokemon species.

I don't have the best explanation for this but I can understand why they do that.

Hmmm, well, on a similar note, some people do capitalize species names. Like someone says "Oh, I love Common Grackles". I don't normally do it, but there's that to consider.
