post any random Mario thought on your mind

Not even against the Easy computers?

I can't beat Aces High with easy CPU's...yet. I've only played Story Mode so far on Easy with everyone to complete "Mt. Mushmore".

I suck at Bob-Omb Breakers, though I always use Expert CPU's in 4. I am however, fairly consistent with Mario's Puzzle Party in 3, though I haven't tried against difficulties higher than normal.

I always use Very Hard CPU's in 8, though I think the fault in Treacherous Tightrope lies within the awful controls.

If Luigi got his answer to Metal Mario and Pink Gold Peach as a playable character in Mario Kart, would it be Vanish Luigi (to Metal Mario's Metal Cap) or Silver Luigi (to Pink Gold Peach's presumed Gold Flower)?

I've always presumed it would be Bronze Luigi.

Nah, Wooden Daisy would be a better choice.

[Insert clever fire flower joke here.]

Brown Bronze Bowser

I just wanted the alliteration.

Blue Bronze Bowser beats Black Boron Bowser badly.

obviously related to Mario. Basically a topic for any random Mario related thing not big enough for its own thread.

Big bad Bowser bakes big breakfast breads

To change the subject, I'm convinced that this song is one of the best SNES songs of all time, if not one of the best videogame songs of all time.

I was never fond of stickerbrush symphony.

Why not? Because it's associated with an incredibly frustrating level? I've never actually played the game so it would not have such associations for me.

Just too slow paced for me.

I get it's supposed to be atmospheric and it does that job fine but without the level accompanying it I don't like listening to it on it's own.

Is this better?

At the risk of sounding like an insufferable hipster, Stickerbrush Symphony is the Wily Castle of DKC2. Good song but it's been remixed and covered to death.

Mining Melancholy is where it's at and it doesn't get near enough love.

It's more upbeat but again not something I'd listen to outside of the level.

My overall tastes are more like this.

Not Mario music but this is something I'd listen to outside the part of the game it appears in.

I've only heard the original and the Brawl version. I guess Mining Melancholy is pretty good, but not as good as Stickerbrush IMO.

I guess we have differing tastes. :D

*terrible music*
I personally hate this one.

It sounds sleepy, dull, and lifeless like the instrumentalists were bored playing it, and on a loop, the saxophones get really, really grating quickly. Extremely repetitive.

If you want jazz, go somewhere else.

Pretty much :P

I appreciate the ~800 MB on the Ultra Smash game.

That way, we could... do things with it with it in the SD card. And my sister and I actually played the game.

It's a fun game! And it looks amazing, better than what Galaxy can dream of. But we agree that it's extremely lacking in content. The demo you find in GameStop is pretty much 1/3 of the game you're getting, really. Feels like it. This game really should've been priced 20 bucks MAXIMUM. Otherwise, er, we would've paid for it.

We had our share of moments, such as when we hit the ball out of reach, but Wario grabs a Mega Mushroom right when the score displays, so you see him dancing around like a fool while his partner is sad it lost a point and you see 0-40. We also had a good time pegging Wario and his teammates, but mainly Wario. Wario's "WHOA!!" is so hilarious. There were also annoying moments like when I tried getting the ball, but my reaction time isn't perfect, so I try lunging, and my sister tries to hit the ball, and it wounds up hitting me. I still laugh at that, though, since Mario's facial expression and grunting is pretty hilarious.

But another reason we got the game's files is so we can extract the high-quality models, and with the existence of EveryFileExplorer and 3DS Max scripts like the BFRES Script_R3_Debug, we can.
