post any random Mario thought on your mind

I never liked mustard. I can never handle it.

Back on subject, I really can't tell the difference between any of the recast Mario voice actors. And while they've been in the games for a long time, they just aren't as iconic as Martinet's Mario.

I relish at the thought of this thread devolving into puns.

It butter not.

I agree with that for the most part, except Bowser since Kenny James is a huge change from Scott Burns.

Not to mention Martinet voices Wario, Waluigi, Baby Mario, and Baby Luigi as well so there's that.

Baby who now?

I disagree.

It's very very obvious to me when there's recast , specially in the case of Rosalina since hers was very flip floppy.

For Daisy is the same, Mustard's overall portrayal of Daisy is miles different and more unique than Jen's version , which was more or less of an impression of Kate Flemmings softer voice.

Jr is the same to me , Dolores Rogers as BJ sounds very baby-ish compared to the more boyish and bratty version that Caety provides.

There's no doubt there's some ''similarities'' considering each character has a ''base sound'' but there's certainly more differences than similarities in the recasts.

Even characters that barely made sounds such as DK have a drastic difference , between let's say Grant's voice in DK64 and Takashi Nagasako's current DK.

is very different, but many of them have sticked for long enough as of today that sometimes people simply forget these differences.

Some voice changes are more obvious to me than others.

Obviously, I can tell Martinet from Albano, and Swan from Kelly, but if I didn't know already that Bowser Jr. switched voice actresses, I wouldn't have the slightest hint. No real difference to me between Rogers and Sagoian that I can pick out.

Oh I can notice it in other games, but the voices in Mario were never of any great importance to me.

No disrespect to any of the actors. Voice acting is a tiring, often thankless job and I commend them for their work. But when all the dialogue is just short clips, it's hard to notice.

I had seen those things in my local Toys R Us for a long time before you posted this so the answer is yes.

idk

They can also look nice hanging on your car too or as car keys.

I would have preferred if the artwork were less generic.

I've always pronounced Nastasia as "Nuh STASS see uh"

But I've recently noticed that her name is just one letter away from the real-world name Anastasia. So should I pronounce it "Nuh STAY zhuh"?

I've pronounced it like Anastasia without the A for as long as I remember.

But Dimentio, I used to pronounce it with a hard T when I first played SPM, then realized Dimenchio is how it's meant to be pronounced.

I am highly convinced that the Shlurp is based off of tardigrades, which are the toughest organisms on earth. They can survive in the emptiness of space as far as I know. The Shlurp itself is invincible unless you manage to hit its insides.

Wario represents most of the 7 deadly sins
  • Greed: Obvious
Envy: Is jealous of Mario's fame, fortune and good looks
Sloth: Will get things done but in a lazy way
Gluttony: Well, he does eat whole cloves of garlic, but he's not fat, he's a body builder, obviously, look at those muscles
Wrath: Is very scary when angry
Pride: Thinks he's best and he''s gonna win
The only one I couldn't think of is lust ... unless a lust for gold counts

In multiple instances, in the ending of the game, Wario can be seen with a girl around his arm.

Example:

So lust also fits.

I like how he is too short so the girls are lifting him.

How can those girls even lift an 800 pound fat barrel?

I must be a very wrathful God if Wario commits those sins then, since I get so much enjoyment out of beating him up.
