Also, Mario + Luigi + Peach + Yoshi isn't a new phenomenon at all, not with the Super Mario World Cartoon running around before most of us were even born.

i liked making this character work , spiritually a succesor after the one in MKwii.

details in her hair are missing due to limitations , but may add later as textures.

This just popped into my mind. Why do Shy Guys barely ever appear in the main Mario series nowadays? Outside the main series they're portrayed as classic enemies alongside Goombas and Koopas, but where are they in the actual main series? Not even Mario Odyssey seems to have them, and that game's all about utilizing previously underused characters and having references other main games wouldn't do.

Does Nintendo just have no idea what type of enemy to make a Shy Guy within the gameplay of the 3D or 2D Mario games nowadays?
 
What could a Shy Guy do that isn't already covered by other enemies? Goombas are the bog-standard "chase after Mario", Monty Moles/Rocky Wrenches throw stuff, Chargin Chucks sprint after Mario, Lakitus fly, Cheep Cheeps swim, and so on and so forth. The one unique features of Shy Guys is that, in Super Mario Bros. 2, they can be stood on and picked up, but that's not something that easily translates to modern Mario.
 
whenever there is a lot of shyguys, there is less of others, when there is more others, there is less shyguys.

Some exceptions of course but thats usually how it goes.

...what is there to be pissed about? You can like characters despite being unimportant. I don't care that Baby Luigi isn't important, I love him for who he is.
