His minions were hypnotized and if the universe was destroyed he'd be destroyed with it along with the world he wanted to conquer.

I wouldn't call any Mario villain pure evil. Just a bunch of cartoonish badguys for a cartoonish series.

And for the record Shadow Queen hasn't done anything Bowser hasn't done before.

Is Yoshi's yarn universe a parallel world to the Mushroom Kingdom, or did something happen to the Mushroom Kingdom to make it look like that?

Tezuka: Yoshi's universe, both in the Yoshi series as well as the yarn Yoshi world in Yoshi's Woolly World, is separate from the Mushroom Kingdom. There’s not really a link between.

It's funny when people make these questions, I'm wondering if they already know that there is no canon and want to have these answers which, by the way, are quite... disturbing! Should we suppose this is why we have the babies along with the adults in Mario Kart and other games?
