post any random Mario thought on your mind

Why do the game developers even bother giving you a few coins if Inns cost next-to-nothing?

Better yet, why make inns cost money when toad houses were free?

Also side note, Koopalings have just been confirmed to talk in Paper Jam and what I find really funny about that is that they officially have never said anything ever in any game. They've been around since the 80s for crying out loud!

I don't know why? I suppose it's to discourage players from abusing inns, but even if you do enter an inn or hit a heart block after every battle, you still probably get a net gain in coins, especially if you have particular badges equipped. Which makes me wonder why something like that is implemented in the first place. Maybe it's a cumulative thing, so players have the guilt of how many coins they lost the entire game from inns? I'm not sure...

That's strange... I wish Larry had lines like "I'm the Top-Dog of Two-Dimensions!". Oh well, they're probably going to get stereotypical and generic dialogue otherwise.

That would sound too similar to the lines of a certain not-Kefka, so maybe it's better not to have that sentence in this thread....

Anyway, Paper Mario was set in the Mushroom Kingdom, and Peach sent the Toads working in the Toad houses, so I would expect a preferential treatment for Mario. On the other hand TTYD was set in another region so...

why does rosalina always float
is she showing off
i mean the comet observatory has stairs n shit and im sure the lumas dont use that so wtf

Well she can't be a space waifu if she don't float.

Not bad. I think my best is about 29.

Side note. I think Bowletta was a terrible idea.

MLSS has some of the most ridiculous characters, and I don't even own the game, just read about it on the wiki.

Bowletta just seems like an attempt to shoehorn Bowser in as the last boss.

Normally, I'd be alright with Bowser as the last boss, but this is not the way to do it. Cackletta was fine by herself.

I think it just robbed Cackletta of her unique physical attributes and turned her into Bowser lite.

In my opinion Bowletta was definitely a bad idea, and I think the designer knew it and did it on purpose so that the plot twist looked even more silly than it already was (i.e. absolutely random plot ideas put to stir things up)

I'd rather this gets erased from long-term memory.

jpg is lossy. You surely wouldn't want to miss a single bit of that image, would you?

That's why we're saving it as jpg, to be as much lossy as possible

quick, someone convert the image into .wav format.

I always thought it was weird that one of Mario's jump sounds is "Mah!". I am not sure which game started using it, but I am pretty sure Super Mario Sunshine is the first game to have him saying "Mah!" when he jumps.

On a related note, it's funny when he says "There's More!?". He likely said that when entering a level with low health.

Thanks for reading.

It's Super Mario Sunshine. I like it when he says it.

I'd like Mario to say, "There's MORE!?" when he has to complete another Red Coin mission or something.

I wish there was a 3D platformer where Mario & Luigi worked together to deal with challenges. Like the M&L series but more platformer oriented instead of an rpg.

That would be quite an interesting twist to the platforming series! You are thinking about controlling Mario & Luigi with the same controller along with special moves like what happens in the Mario & Luigi series?

Super Mario 3D Double Dash.

There is also several more pairs of people, Peach & Daisy, Toad & Toadette, Waluigi & Wario, Rosalina & Luma, and Baby Mario & Baby Luigi (secret) and it has simultaneous 4-player support. You can also pair them with other people once you complete the game (e.g. Mario & Baby Luigi).
