I prefer Mario X Peach since it is officially supported. Mario did confess his love for Peach in Mario Power Tennis when she gets the trophy. Mario says "I love you so much" followed by "I love you". And, yes I played the vast majority of the game as Peach so I know this.
 
He says it though like he would say something normally, he doesn't like sits on his knees and says it with a romantic way.
 
I like that, but the one thing that bugs me is why doesn't he have a left foot?
 
Probably the medium was too small to accommodate a foot. It's also a sketch, after all. Everything else about it is awesome though.
 
Not only does that look amazing, it's also accurate because I side somersault all the time while I'm fighting Bowser in Mario 64.
