Reminds me of the whole SNES Mini and other situations involving Nintendo understocking their product.

The customer acts like Donkey Kong while the captives are pretty much the people who work at retailers.

Actually, if you look at a modern artwork, Donkey Kong now definitely has two very distinctive eyes, but I don't really think it ever looked like he only had one, but I'm not sure on that fact. But Dixie and Diddy definitely have that. :diddy:

I went looking for Goomba fan art and was disappointed by the lack of quality stand alone goomba fan art.

I did however find this so that was good at least.
