Good idea.

I doubt I'm going to get this game, as I generally stick to what I know, but if I'm impressed by it, I might still get it.

I'd buy it for sure. Even if I hate supporting Ubisoft, it looks to be a funny take on the Mario series.

prediction for story:

a portal opens up and rabbids dressed like mario characters fall out and so mario finds them and brings rabbids to all his friends or something but then bowser and bowser jr and the other baddies find their rabbids and so they hatch a plan to take over the world and steal all the chicken mcnuggets so mario's friends and their rabbid counterparts on the journey to stop bowser's troop and their rabbid counterparts from taking over the world and stealing all the chicken mcnuggets

If Rabbids had a major antagonist I'd predict the usual team up of villains and heroes.

But they don't so my guess is Rabbids come to Mario land, cause all sorts of shenanigans and 4 Rabbids help Mario and co round em up.

Oh and Bowser will be there because he's always there.

It's actually real.
I never thought this would happen.
I was not convinced that it was real and didn't expect it to be announced, but it actually has been.
Let's hope it's a good game.

i just wish rabbids weren't in it

I've seen the Ubisoft conference for this game, it's easily the game I'm most interested in seeing, no doubt about it. The trailer has made me really want to see how the game turns out now.

I may buy this game, but until I see the full game, I can't make the decision. By the way, this thread should not be called "Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle (It's Real)".

The gameplay looks unlike any other Mario games. They seem to be portraying the Mario characters pretty much like they're portrayed normally. Looks like it might be fun, but I'm not sure I like strategy games much.

Gameplay:
It will be interesting to see how versatile and fast battles are, surely the system looks versatile at the moment, which is good.

Behind the scenes:
Yup, this game was developed mainly below MK8 Rainbow Road!
Italians are making a game about Mario, yay!
Also, they are using Maya for 3D modeling, and there was music from Rayman Legends, odd considering the composer is Grant Kirkhope and not Christophe Héral.

You just know the main villain will either be Bowser or Rabbid Bowser or both.

The trailer was pretty convincing but I'm glad to see that this is officially fake.
