What game did you last play?!?!?!?

Yeah i mightve taken my time but then I saw that you were told to beat them before me and I thought 'I should totally ruin that'.

Then once I got all but the true ending I was already in too deep and couldn't stop myself. The safe ending itself opened up so many questions and ideas that it was impossible not to.

I guess the only reason I bought it was because someone revived that ZE3 hype thread which got me to check how much it cost. It was roughly $20 so I couldn't really pass it up, I wanted to get hype too god damn it. And now i can :)

tfw Zero is actually Santa

I'm so good~

Also hah I knew there was something up with June, kinda surprised it was the bracelet though.

Literally me, this game is like a whirlpool, get too into it and it sucks you in.

EDIT: Alright I beat it.

I adored the concept of the Study, it was basically a trek through memory lane which was cute albeit easy.

I was quite shocked when Santa pulled out the gun instead, but that just made me all the more disappointed when he had lost the gun to Ace and it took the Safe Ending route, which was pretty silly because you have a gun; how do you botch that?

Kinda surprised there was no mention of Lotus' relation to the children because I can barely remember that myself but ah well I guess, not too much of a bother.

And I figured out what that person meant by "THE EYE", probably the eye of Ace through the window which surprisingly only scared me the second time, pfft.

Honestly I was laughing pretty hard when I noticed the final puzzle was an upside-down sudoku, I do like three downside-up versions of them every school day so despite how emotionally weighty it was (which I loved) I wrecked it in like three minutes, talk about anti-climatic.

And tfw Santa ISN'T literally Zero, I'm kinda salty.

Overall I loved the game once I started getting into it after my second run, I would definitely place this in at least the top five of my favourite DS games and look so forward to playing VLR and ZE3 (yessss) later on. Fave characters would be Clover (Seven and Snake are also cool) although the game has a wonderful cast of characters so it's like picking the largest gold trophy out of a group of gold trophies in that regard.

idk what else to say but it was an excellent run I guess, kinda sad it's already over but shout-outs to my bros Cruck and GBAToad for helping me actually get into this game, couldn't have done this so soon without you two.

Replace Snake with June and you have my favourites. The whole cast was good and fit their roles well. Like if I had to rate them I'd go Clover > Seven > June > Junpei >> Santa > Lotus = Ace = Snake but each one was important. Finally getting to see a happy and not broken Clover for the last hour or so of the true ending was like a reward for watching her eat shit for the entire game up to that point. Funny how I went from 'you little bitch' in the axe ending to 'daww you little angel' in the true one.

I'm actually terrible at Sudoku so it took me like six or eight minutes to do it while I listened to that sad music in the background and saw cry face haunting me ;_;

I didn't like the study, probably one of my least favourites exactly because it was a trip down memory lane. Didn't feel like the puzzles were new or anything, I'd done all of them. I would've thought it was neat if they added some sort of callback to the very first puzzle right before leaving.

also lmao at 'how do you botch that', I thought the exact same thing. Santa's terrible at his job ffs.

Reading through your 999 posts has me crying like daMN it's like I'm reliving it myself. I should give it another playthrough, I've forgotten a lot about it

Last played MK7 for the tourney and got rekt

Virtue's Last Reward
So my game crashed, luckily I just spammed the a button back to where I was in 4 minutes. It froze after the line 'use x-Ray vision', it was like the game just gave up after that lol. 'This is what you get for being silly during serious times' boom dead.
I want to know more about why Clover is there but this old man with the hard to spell name (tenryuusomething) is interesting. Maybe that old woman was his wife or something. I feel like the thing on his head is important, he said something about freeing his soul without it so maybe it's containing him? He wasn't wearing it then he went ballistic. Or maybe it really was radical-6 that does that. Man I don't know. It's too early to speculate so much lol. I chose Ally and old man Betrayed me like a fuck. Now I'm salty.

Actually I might find out something about Clover since this part has her in it. Maybe she'll explain the story of how she suddenly looks way older than she did before, It's probably just the clothes and hair change tbh. And uh, that stamp on her face. 'How can we make her look different?' 'Lets just make her hot' 'jimmy you're a god damn genius'. I ain't complaining tho. Luna knows more about radical-6 than she's letting on methinks, K seems like a nice guy but who knows what he was like before he had amnesia. Dio is an asshole.

Rogue Legacy

Beat Ponce de Leon with a Spellsword(Paladin and Assassin runs have gotten close too, but ultimately it was a Spellsword run). I found a room with Alexander's boss door so now it's time for me to repeatedly attempt to beat Alexander the IV, I guess.

Edit:
J5DjPjz.png

I technically don't have Astrodotus yet beaten, but I have beaten him before so I only have to beat Ponce de Freon and Astrodotus for that medallion.

Super Smash Bros. for Wii U

I just trained my Link amiibo (named Lonk) and he can pull off ridiculous combos that take me from 0% to 54%, does these insane zair combos, and edgeguards me with Spin Attack.

Virtue's Last Reward
ive hit two dead ends on the middles path and two too be continued, one of which I passed just now. Old man has a picture of Akane, wtf. Who is this guy. Apparently he was going to explain something before too, he never did. This is a huge tease. His first love? I feel like they're hinting at someone real specific but that wouldn't make any sense I don't think, but I'll keep that idea in my head just in case. Man that'd be such a weird twist though.

Actually it didn't make any sense that Sigma knew about the book in this path, but I guess it won't just be glossed over. The games puzzles are much more interesting than the last game, though sometimes I miss the simplicity of those ones. Dio is still an asshole, K is apparently an asshole, Clover turned into a bitch for one ending :( but the rest of them she seems fine, she's got jokes for days. At least before rip Alice.

Ninja Gaiden

It was a nice ride at the start when I was stuck at the third boss, but it went downhill near the end. The level design started to turn from hard but sensible to the point where continuing was just masochistic. The worst part is that it decides to bend the rules in the end. I understand that if you lose to a boss you have to do the stage before them again. Feels ugh, but whatever, it's just one stage. However, you are placed back to the very start of the act when it concerns the final boss. The bosses were certainly not bad in design. They're tough, which makes it kinda sucky for some of the later bosses that you're sent a whole stage back and very bad for the final boss to be sent an entire act back.

It's not necessarily a bad game, but I feel that in all honesty that games like Mega Man are much more fun. (And Mega Man is not my favorite platforming series)

the ninja gaiden trilogy is only for the most hardcore gamers.

even if you can beat the first megaman without pause abusing youll probably not make it past ninja gaiden 2 (yeah its harder than the first one, and 3 even tops that too)

I understand that Ninja Gaiden is not an easy game. I fully well went into the game knowing that. Maybe it's because the game has to be completed in a single run, but in its final parts it felt more emphasized as a marathon platformer than a tough platformer.

I don't know, call me a casual, but I don't think this game's checkpoints make it truly harder. For most of the game's platforming I'm not too bothered since stages are generally pretty short, but the last one was a bit too long, methinks. For bosses, it's kind of a so-so. I can bear doing the last stages of the first four acts for a chance to re-fight the first boss, the fifth act's final stage is tough for me but the boss is pretty simple anyway, and starting from 6-1 for failing the final bosses is a bad bend of the rules.

Virtue's Last Reward
K Ending was awesome and left me very confused, shed some light on who K is but that doesn't make things any less confusing, made it more confusing if you ask me.

Splatoon

It's so fun being a Stealth Ninja Inkling. With a ninja squid perk, I can sneak up to the enemy and SPLAT them with my Octobrush/Carbon Roller!

Virtue's Last Reward
aw shit, he started noticing that were jumping around the timeline. I wonder if that happens once you've gone through enoug timelines or if it's specific to the right side. Either way, it's really cool.

Also he brought up Dio acting strange by not choosing Betray, to begin with Quark is a huge mystery in every path. He's either disappearing or 'dead'. This kid ain't normal. I've got info on pretty much everyone else but him and Luna and even she gets suspicious sometimes since she knew a lot about radical-6. I feel like it's all but confirmed who the old man is, especially since Sigma just said something about time travel. I want to know more about K but I can sort of guess considering Dio is a clone and well, that doesn't mean he's the only clone in this universe if you know what I'm saying.

Mario & Luigi PiT

I'm abusing the badge which gives insane attack power when youre below 1/3 of your hp, by simply never healing mario (i also gave him the pants that up his power by 20 and have 0 defense) so he's at 1 hp all the time.

also i bought the ultima badge from fawful and gave it to luigi

i have a similar setup for the babies, only that i gave luigi the status ailment resistency badge iirc.

i might change my strategy when i can buy better pants the next time to the thing which gives more attack power when you have less mushrooms and instead give baby luigi and luigi healing badges and give mario and baby mario pants with defense up again

also im not sure what else i should buy from fawful because the other stuff seems barely worth it lol

btw im in the volcano in the past.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

Just recently brought this, so far it's okay. Really like the exploration but the two dungeons I've played have actually been quite bland.

the worst part is the music that plays during those dungeons, which i think is a contender for the most boring video game song ive heard

wow okay, so I had pretty much figured out that old man was Junpei except old, whether that was because of cryosleep or something I didn't know but everything pointed to it.

but then the old lady from the start has Kurashiki on her tag and Jumpydoll on the back. I honestly never saw that one coming, but I guess old man did get real silent when they found her body so it's not completely out of the blue. but why are these two old and not Clover, that's what still confuses me. I was hesitant to believe it when I first considered it but they don't make it hard to figure out lol.

now, I just need to know more about K and everything. I feel like there are a lot of loose ends that need clearing up. I know bits and pieces but I feel like they aren't connected well. Like, the 'why' of all these things.

The flowchart is basically complete, two game overs and an ending on the right then I just have to finish the far left path.

edit: i totally fucking called Luna being a robot the moment G-OLM mentioned human-like robots.
edit2: Luna ;_;7
