Thankfully I had heaps of leftover credit from the smash bros. dlc, so I decided to get one of the Pokemon games and Yellow stood out to me because I heard you can get all the starters, and it's in colour

currently at viridian city. my team:
Pikachu Lv. 11
Nidoran♂ Lv. 10
Mankey Lv. 7
Pi Lv. 7
Rattata Lv. 3
Nidoran♀ Lv. 2

I'm definitely training Nidoran♂, Pi and Pikachu, but I'm not sure if I want to keep mankey or not. I'll see what happens after brock

also gonna try to Catch 'em All™ but I'll probably have to resort to glitches to do that (or convince my sister to get one)

Oh, they're out now? I might get one because even though I own cartridges of Red/Yellow, it's a pain to play them because no backlight.

I just obtained Cut and I'm going to go battle all the trainers east of Vermilion City as far as I can, then travel to Diglett's Cave to get Flash and such then go battle Lt. Surge. My team so far:

Spark the Pikachu: Level 20
Guy the Gyarados: Level 21
Zae the Primape: Level 20
Gabumon the Charmeleon: Level 20
TwoTwo the Ivysaur: Level 20
and Pidgey my Fly Slave until I get Articuno.

I'm in mount moon atm, found a clefairy and caught it on the first try so my dex is lookin pretty good atm

Grinding magikarp is a total pain in the arse but i'm slowly getting it done

wow this is the first time i've ever lost a pokemon battle to a gym leader in a long time. damn that starmie, now i want one

Even though I used Pi to reduce staryu's accuracy by at least 3 stages, it still managed to land a critical hit water gun on both him and my sandshrew, only to be stopped by pikachu. Then starmie came out and critted pikachu with a bubblebeam and it was pretty much all downhill from there once it got its defenses up

ALTHOUGH there was a brief glimmer of hope because the AI wouldn't use any water-type moves on magikarp and so it just kept using harden even though its defenses were maxed out and I was chipping away its HP 1 point at a time with tackle, lmao. then it used tackle and i blacked out. rip

I came back and proceeded to wreck everything (including her bike) using pikachu with double team and thunder wave on the second try though so cascade badge get i guess

now for the mew glitch

Double post but whatever, I just got Mew hot damn

Thankfully it only took me three tries to get an abra and doing the rest of the glitch was a breeze after that.

Not sure what I'm gonna do with it but i find it amazing that fans have analysed these games so much that they've optimised the ways you can do these glitches asap

Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight

I played very shortly just so I wouldn't be completely lost when I get back into it. I went over what skills I wanted to allocate points to, went over what quests I still haven't done, other things. I got some progress to make.

The fourth stratum is beautiful but it sure is a pain in the ass to map it accurately.

Guild cards looking sick af as per usual. I love guild cards. So simple but so nice to look at.

So Maya did a thing again that criminal bitch

also this case seems pretty confusing so far (especially because of why would mia keep something from phoenix

unless maya is actually guilty and shes trying to hide it which is a possibility tbh)

and why didnt we have that mana stone (or whatever that is) before???

I don't remember the enemies here being able to one-shot me. I should have expected enemies like that to show up eventually but Floor 19 is a bit early. They might have an instant death effect since they're scorpion monsters with death literally in their name.
