Oh, my French teacher just made someone look so stupid.

*knock knock*
Teacher: Oh, we have a little visit. On va se divertir un peu!
Student walks in: I forgot my coat, can I go get it?
Teacher: Right, cut, try again. Go outside, then I'll tell you what to say.
Teacher: I am very sorry to bother you. Puis-je avoir l'audace de vous déranger?. May I please get my coat there? Right, you say it. Nope, not right. Do it again.

At the end, our whole class was dead laughing. My teacher always does that. Like the time where she was:

*knock knock*
Teacher: Oh my, was that an auditory hallucination? Come in!
Student walks in.
Teacher: Oh my , now actual visual hallucinations.
Out of curiosity, why do you learn French as a language when you live invFrance?
Or is it just like a literature and grammar class?
Gosh, next thing you know they'll start teaching English in England.
No, not going to happen doesn't matter I'm taking it as an A-Level

Re: today you did things noteworthy

Technically yesterday, but I had my first performance of A Christmas Carol last night. We have two more shows on Saturday.

Re: today you did things noteworthy

I tried to be a businessman and sell (convince someone to buy) Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies or any of its prequels to some people in my school. My business adventure crashed and burned as soon as I used the words courtroom and text adventure.

I bought one of my friends the first game. I also showed a couple of them the movie. And they're not obsessed yet. I don't know what to do. :(

Well, they're the losers on that deal, right?

Wait there's an AA movie?

Re: today you did things noteworthy

Sure is. And it's actually crazy good. I need to rewatch the DVD when I get some free time.

I'm surprised, I thought it'd be mediocre at best after viewing the trailer.

This was the trailer I saw, by the way.

Re: today you did things noteworthy

Should have watched this one:

It's basically like watching the game and the game is like playing the movie. :P

Re: today you did things noteworthy

From what I have heard, it is actually pretty good comapred to how most VG movie adaptations are.

In comparison maybe, stand alone it might not be very good. But I haven't seen it so I'm not a good judge here.

Re: today you did things noteworthy

I finished the main storyline of the Tomb Raider Reboot. Very first time I've completed a Tomb Raider game, and it was absolutely fantastic.

The whole game is really quite depressing and sad. It just breaks your heart when you get so attached to some of the characters, only for them to be killed off. I kind of expected Roth and Whitman to be killed off, Roth being the mentor and basically father to Lara, and Whitman being the douchbag of the group who eventually betrays them all, but I have to say that Alex's death came as a bit of a shock to me. He just seemed like someone who would come out on top in the end. I also didn't really expect Grim's death, but I thought he died in the crash anyways. It all adds to the realism of the game really, that not everyone survives in the end. I think out of a possible eight main characters, only four of them survive (which reminds me of an Ayreon album).

No.

It's not like they didn't enjoy it, but apparently they just don't have time for games any more and that makes me sad.

As for today, I haven't done anything noteworthy but yesterday I bought a pretty new toy, a Canon EOS 700D, my first proper camera. Now I just want to go out and take pretty pictures of stuff, especially now because the weather is nice, but I'm stuck insider doing homework. Oh well... soon.

Man that game is ace. I still haven't finished it yet, though.

You mean you haven't seen it? D:

Re: today you did things noteworthy

I was gonna post about it yesterday, but I got home around midnight.

We preformed A Christmas Carol twice then went to the cast party for the Upper School cast and crew members (I go to a TK-12 school). It was pretty fun. S'mores, hot tub, music, cute dog. There was also silly string and potato gun warfare. No one was spared.

Also, these two people making out the entire time, so we threw potatoes at them.

Re: today you did things noteworthy

I finished perfecting my History presentation that I have to present tomorrow. I'm doing it on the SS. And their leaders...

Re: today you did things noteworthy

For a second there I thought you bought the batteries for the budgie.

So my copy of Rhythm Thief arrived today (yay) and I also bought two decks of Cards Against Humanity off eBay - one for myself and one for my Kris Kringle. I hope he likes it.
