Spoiler: Fluttershy after seeing this argument over her

This scene in particular in Hurricane Fluttershy actually makes me tear up a bit. Not many shows that I watch do that other then Avatar: The Last Airbender and Courage the Cowardly Dog at it's saddest moments. That scene (And the following scene where Fluttershy's crying in the forest with the Animals trying to comfort her) alone made that episode and Fluttershy herself so awesome and a big reason why I keep going on placing Fluttershy as my official 2nd favorite pony or not. (Think about it, up until Hurricane Fluttershy it was always Twilight first and everyone else was tied in the Main 6. Hurricane Fluttershy actually made me consider changing that up to Twilight then Fluttershy and a tie between the rest)

Well Applejack was being kinda tricky, and it did appear that she broke the promise. Applejack implied that she would tell them in the morning. She didn't. And so it appeared the Promise was broken.

No she told them she would tell them at breakfast and she didn't eat breakfast therefore she didn't break anything and Pinkie Pie was being stupid for not noticing that

1. Technically, just because Applejack didn't eat breakfast doesn't mean that breakfast never happened. And she didn't tell them at breakfast.
2. Again, Applejack was tricking them and it was a rude thing to do.
3. So what if Pinkie didn't see it at first? She still had every right to be angry, her best friend suddenly left her family and friends and wouldn't even tell them why, I think that is a pretty good reason to be angry.
4. Once Pinkie realized that the promise wasn't broken, she left AJ alone. What's wrong with that?
