I actually heard that guy's not that bad it's just that whenever people see him they think of those movies... Probably going to take forever to be removed from that movie's stigma still. And some haters are probably going to try to use the fact as a weapon.

Oh *bleep*. He's a brony.
Oh my GOD, he just MENTIONED the show! Not everyone who MENTIONS the show is automatically a borny! Sheesh.

Only that he didn't really have an incentive to mention the show at that time. He could've said "sparkle like diamonds" instead. But instead he chose to mention My Little Pony. And that's something a non-brony wouldn't do so easily.

What are you talking about, of course it would have. My Little Pony is so freaking popular that I'm sure even non-fans would make reference to it. I mean, after all, you don't have to know anything about My Little Pony to make a "Twilight Sparkle" joke. The name itself IS the joke.

In reality her name was made up some years before the whole Twilight book/movie series became a big thing. It's just unfortunate in hindsight that just happened to be her name with it being not too far off after which.

Though to be honest. I'm sure I'm not the only one who says she redeemed both the words in her name.

It doesn't matter where or when the name was created, it's STILL a funny coincidence. Not to mention, nobody cared about the individual names of each pony until Friendship is Magic.

Translated Apple Bloom's French with Google Translate, and...: http://translate.google.com/#fr|en|Sacrebleu!%20Plus%20de%20marque%20de%20cutie.%20Qu%27est-ce%20que%20c%27est%3F%20Je%20parle%20fran%C3%A7ais%3F ...0_o

"Dagnabbit, another cutie mark! What's that? I speak French?"

Google translate translates Sacrebleu as "damn it", but it is an acceptable curse in French, like "Dagnabbit" is in English.

A YouTube video I came across, that I found interesting (not funny, silly, or a PMV, just interesting):

The info box for the video:
Here's the link to the topic I mentioned: http://www.equestriaforums.com/index.php/topic,1936.0.html

After further discussion on the forums, it seems that everyone is in agreement that part of the reason this episode received such mixed opinions from fans was because the writer of this episode is one of the poorest writers on staff and his experience doesn't quite match up to the others.

So in the episodes I've seen, there's a mane pony who's the center of attention, then they don't appear in the next ponysode...

All 6 don't have to appear in an episode. Twilight's the only one who was in practically every episode until the Rarity/Sweetie Belle episode but that's understandable since she was established as the main character. Though I can understand some people's frustration if their favorite pony is not Twilight and their favorite hadn't had any major roles in a while. Applejack hasn't had a good episode on her self since Episode 4 (Albeit I bet her roles in the latest episodes have been big enough), and Fluttershy's last episode was episode 22 and she never appeared at all in the last 2 episodes. Pinkie at least had Episode 25 as something recent even if that was still back way in Season 1.

"The Cutie Pox" was an alright episode. As someone (Smashgoom?) said earlier, it's not very memorable nor among the best episodes, but some of Apple Bloom's cutie marks are hilarious. I also liked the part Spike falls in love with Twilight's mane.

Regarding Applejack, although there hasn't been an episode focused on her for some time, she's had good roles in the last few episodes, such as "Sisterhooves Social".

Man, i wish that people wouldn't take the show so seriously. Though it does have morals, it's not really meant to teach anything to anyone. I mean, children watch tom and jerry often, and you don't see children running around whacking people over the heads with mallets and crap like that. I mean, it's merely just for fun. It does have messages, and children should take from these messages, but the show shouldn't be taken that seriously.

Just to say, i'm not having a go at Smashgoom202. I'm having a go at the guy who made this video, and whatever the post was on whatever forum it was.

Tom & Jerry, Looney Tunes, and all that is one thing, but kids are still very impressionable and what they see as kids does stick with them as they grow up, no matter how subtle it may be. And I don't mean in the literal sense that kids copy what they watch on TV, but in that they take what they see in the cartoons and apply it to reality. Not to metnion, Tom & Jerry were specifically meant to be entertaining. My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, while entertaining, is also meant to teach kids watching it. Isn't it better to learn WHILE being entertained? Instead of it being one or the other?

And what makes you say this should shouldn't be taken seriously? Are you saying all of the morals in this show are bogus? Because I disagree with that, I think that most of the episodes teach very good morals. I don't understand the logic not having this show open to interpretation like other shows can.

First time since before Season 2 began. The facebook page gave a preview for the next episode. Spoilerified for you Spoiler sensitive people.

Hm, a bat, another owl, an Eagle, and a Hawk

I think we can cross out the owl since Twilight has one. I don't think they'd give the same type of animal to different Ponies. And as much as the eagle or hawk would be awesome. How come I have this feeling it will be one of those underdog pet stories and Rainbow Dash will pick the bat. But that would be weird considering normally Bats are associated as being night creatures. (I'm sure that's just a stereotype of a bat though, I think fruit bats go out in the day. But whatever it is could be cool whatever it is. If it's the Eagle hooray for more American Dash posters. The hawk's cool too. But my gut feeling says the Bat will become Rainbow's pet. Now to see if the episode on Saturday goes with that.

Oh look, it's Twilight's owl, haven't seen him in owhile (oh God, shoot me for making that joke.)

I bet it'll either be the bat or the eagle.

Owlicious is darker and less fat than that owl.

Owlicious is also in the background if you look up. He's on Twi's back. Next to Spike. Nice to know they remember him though.

All of the mane cast's pets are there. I can only guess Rainbow has seen them with a pet and deicdes she wants one.

Also, wow, I accidentally almost called RD a boy. o_O
