That sounds interesting but reminds me too much of Lesson Zero.
Also I think I may rematch the episode today anyway.

So apparently there is a top ten favorite episodes countdown. This should be fun.

Oh cool a Twilight episode. Hooray :)

At least now it's being a little more varied. We have a Pinkie Episode, then a Fluttershy one, and then a Twilight one. And it is interesting that there's a little bit of Time Travel this time. And I'm sure it will go differently from Lesson Zero.

Also now that Hearts and Hooves episode aired offiicially we don't have to spoilerfy the discussion on it xP

I really like the new episode. My comments on it are on page 107. To lazy to quote it, though.
Who else thinks the show should have more Fluttershy episodes?

There's one coming 2 weeks from now.
I heard. I am kinda excited to see how it turns out.

O-KAY! Lucky for me, I had a notepad with me, making a list of the mare-a-thon episodes while I watched it, so I was able to take down notes about various things that caught my interest during the episode. I was kind of worried that I'd be too distracted to enjoy the episode, but oh well...

I guess first I should point out that, even though I didn't write this down, I thought the awkward moments between Cheerilee and Big Macintosh were... well, awkward. But not in a "so awkward you laugh" kind of way, no, I never feel that way about awkward moments. It always makes me feel uncomfortable. Sometimes I look away from the screen or close my eyes and wait for the awkwardness to end. NOT A COMPLAINT, that's just how I feel. :-\

Okay, let's see what we got...

-That scene with the Cutie Mark Crusaders making the card for Cheerilee was cute. They really like Cheerilee. :)

-lol at their reaction to Cheerilee not having a "special somepony". They overreact to a LOT of things, as we see later in this episode. Heh, kids... :)

-So... Did the fillies just ditch school in order to find a "special somepony" for Cheerilee. I doubt she'd be happy about that.

-I already talked about the song in another topic.

-Doctor Whooves... Splashy?

-The way the fillies go about this was a LOT more subtle than what happened in The Powerpuff Girls... Even though they apparently knew what they were doing in this one.

-That image of the CMC under Twilight's legs is both adorable and kind of creepy.

-It's the same Sorcerer's Apprentice music from Secret of My Excess. This time it fits here, since they're making a potion.

-I COULDN'T be the only who thought Cheerilee and Big Mac were going to start making out when they were moving closer to each other. Like it looks like they're about to kiss, but then all of a sudden BAM, they're rolling around mating like wild rabbits! ...But then, it's a kids show, so of course that's not going to happen.

-So... The girls don't like it because of the mushy-gushy love talk Cheerilee and Big Mac have? Well, maybe it's not exactly that kind of talk, but this sort of thing shippers drool over.
And masturbate. :-X

-I have to admit, Big Mac's voice doesn't sound very stupid when he's saying "Eeyup" or "Nope", or a quick sentence, but here, he DEFINITELY sounds like a drooling moron.

-Bulls pulling the cart of anvils... you know, one of these days, they're going to have to address the idea of how other hooved animals live with the ponies.

-Once again, we get an indicator of Big Mac's massive strength. Able to plow through a herd of ponies AND pull an entire house. Awesome... And Berry Punch must be all like "Okay, I must REALLY be gone, now."

-That wink at the end and the walk into the sunset... Shippers will take the walking to mean they might really fall in love, but anyone who's thinking clearly will probably think that the tease at the end was not for shipper, but rather to tease the CMC, and nothing more.

So yeah, cute episode. :D

Title: It's About Time
Air Date: March 10, 2012
Summary: Twilight receives a warning from her future self and drives herself crazy with worry.

If Doctor Whooves doesn't at least appear prominently in the background, then I'm going to be very disappointed.

OH SNAP, TIME TRAVEL! Expect a lot of Back to the Future and Terminator references to come.

...Wait I just realized something about the "Future Twilight" episode. I have a feeling the Homestuck fans here who are also FiM fans are going to be all over that xD

I can almost see people creating those Pesterchum logs between Future Twilight and Present Twilight.

Haven't seen the new one yet. Will watch later.

On the subject of the time travel episode, I hope we get to see the future versions of the Mane 6 as well.

I can't believe that the Nightmare Festival episode got to No.1.
Well, y'know, Luna and all that.

It's the way Luna was treated. Did they forget the big party they threw for Luna becoming good? Here's how it went down:

Season 1: Hooray! Princess Luna is back! We shall never forget this for as long as we live!
Season 2: Oh my god! It's Nightmare Moon! SHE'S GONNA EAT US ALL!

Knowing the MASSIVE number of Luna fans out there, it really isn't surprising.

Here's the list of top 9 episodes from the Mare-a-thon:

9.) Hearth's Warming Eve
8.) Feeling Pinkie Keen
7.) Lesson Zero
6.) Party Of One
5.) May The Best Pet Win
4.) Suited For Success
3.) The Best Night Ever
2.) Green isn't your color
1.) Luna Eclipsed.

Feeling Pinkie Keen and Green isn't Your Color are on the list? Seriously? I guess I can kind of understand Green isn't Your Color somewhat, but seriously, how can Feeling Pinkie Keen be THAT popular?

I'm glad May the Best Pet Win and Suited for Success made the list, those were my favorites!

Not every single episode was available though. I think had The Last Roundup been a choice it most certainly would of been one of those.

Sort of wish Cutie Mark Chronicles made it. But it's not like I was going to be able to watch the marathon anyway. It started at 6 AM. I'm a big fan but I'm afraid I do kinda want to have my sleep and not wake up for just a marathon where everyone is probably still sleeping. Even if it is one of my favorite shows.

I wake up for the new episodes each week though.

Like I said, Luna was treated pretty badly in that episode.

Meh, wasn't a big fan of that episode, Derpy or not.

The problem is that you'e focussing on the characters and not the episode itself. I don't really care what characters are in it, I like a good plot execution and funny moments.

Well whatever your opinion on that episode was. It probably would've gotten in because of Derpy and the fact it hasn't been that long since it aired.

I kinda don't understand why May the Best Pet Win is there. But I don't dislike that episode, I just think there were other choices that were just a bit better.

But it's not a big deal to get all upset over it. The list is decent enough for me with Lesson Zero and The Best Night Ever IMO even if I didn't really get to watch the marathon.
