Suggestions for Improvement

First Avatars need to be displayed by the user manually.
As for the Display Names, again, I don't know how far SMF supports this.
I know IP.Board supports this, but SMF possibly not.

If it is actually feasible, I think it should be done; I've seen a lot of users wanting something like this.
...Really? Tell me where you're looking, because I don't see any of that.

Don't remember, but I think it was somewhere in the name change thread. I might have gotten the idea myself based off of something else though

I never got why some Forum Games topics are randomly sticked.

I thought we could unstick most of them because it's pretty pointless.

...maybe because they're the most popular ones?

So is this feasible?

So how come Count to 100 with a twist is more popular than Good wishes aren't always good wishes.

I think there should be a benchmark for stickworthiness.

Like maybe 250 pages, at least 75000 views, and active status.

We already have a stickied counting thread.

Too many games fit in that category, I think.

From the first page, Two choices and The One Letter at a Time Word Game would be eligible for being stickied, while Block the above user for a stupid reason, Count until a mod posts, and Let's play some Hangman all being close contenders for passing the requirements. Yeah, it would just result in too many stickied topics.

Which is why I said maybe.

But I still stand by opinion that there should be some kind of standards hat a thread has to meet before it can be stickied.

You still suggested it. Do I not have a right to point out any flaws in your idea?

I think the problem with that is that there will be too many counting threads that end up stickied. They're all similar to one another, and it would seem excessive to have all of them stickied simply because they have a lot of posts and views.

Because it's a counting game, so you don't really need to put much thought into posting in it. Good wishes is much more imaginative (despite the "twist" in the counting game). Also, I don't think we should have more than one counting game stickied. It'd be better to have more variety.

I agree with this.

maybe there should be some sort of vote when it comes to the most posted games.

The most voted topics get to be stickies

I think it's too much trouble, there's not really any reason why we can't stick with the ones we already have.

Per this. Everything's fine the way it is

(lol, pun, "stick" to the one we have. Nevermind)

Stickying should be used as it's meant to: Only the important Threads.
