Suggestions for Improvement

I mean only for users with a cretain amount of posts, make the thread only visable to those who have enough posts and admins only.
 
Invisible posts are only possible in invisible boards.
What can be done is, all people that reached at least into "Chatty Chat" (or however it's called), can see that board, with that thread in it.
 
Sorry for double post, but how about a list of recent perm bans/non perm bans to say why and how long for users information.

I can't even remember the last time someone was banned.

Oh yeah there was that little bit with UM a few months ago but that was no big deal.

I think that the box that we enter our signature into should be a bit larger and maybe have a preview button. Currently the letters are cramped and hard to decipher when we edit it, and we don't know if we entered it right until we save the signature.
 
I don't think it's possible in SMF, as the entire Forums's source code needs to be hacked to add it.

Yes, that was major compared to the recent bans (if any) on the boards.
 
ToxBox: Would you consider yourself a "major" user? Because the most recent bans are all spambots, you are the most recent user to receive a ban who is not a bot. So yes, I would consider that "major".

Now please, that was not meant as a topic for discussion.



Nabber: I don't think there's really anything we can do in the way of changing the forums' coding. If you want to suggest we give users certain privileges, or change some of the customizable aspects of the forum, then go ahead. But actually editing the code itself and changing the features is not something anyone here wants to, or can, do.
 
Bump.

So Master Crash's new thread, "Name request dates" is far more useful than MG1's public name change log.

So what I'm suggesting is that Public name change log be moved to Topic Storage and Name request dates be stickied.
 
Well, I know that Xephyr has them, so it might be possible. I don't know for certain, though, because if I recall correctly this forum is using a different version of SMF than Xephyr is.

It upgraded not too long ago.

I've been on a couple of forums using the same version of SMF as this and have clickable spoilers. So yeah, I'm pretty sure it possible.

Adding on to this, it would also be good to have them when you have videos or music, as you would be able to move your mouse about.
