The Official AH NEE MAY Topic

Okay, I think this may be my first post on this topic - but I'm curious to know if there are any folks here who are following the anime adaption of Aikatsu!. It's one of the biggest things in Japan right now; I just wished it would spread out to other corners of the globe. Yeah, I know about the "localization issues", but still - this is one of the best series coming from Sunrise and Bandai.

I've seen the name a few times but never looked into it.

Aghh
There are so many animes I kind of want to watch but don't really care about watching at the same time.
Do you what I mean?

Yep.

I usually do one series at a time, since I can't really afford to spend more time watching shows, but that means I avoid most multi-season series because I want to watch as many things as possible and not just a couple big series for months on end.

so anyone here heard about doraemon coming to the us this summer?

shame it's gonna be 4Kids-ized
Wait, that is not a Digimon.
is better
It also looks like it has been painted with a heavy layer of 4kids just by looking and not reading about it.
the disney adaption or the series in general?
....I don't even know. Never heard of it until you brought it up.

I've heard the name previously, but I'm not going to go out of my way to learn about it. The extent of my knowledge is that it is a blue cat and I always confuse it with that drum thing with the goofy smile that I also don't know the name of. It'll probably stay that way until someone gives me a reason to be interested.

Hitsugi no Chaika is pretty good, nothing too different or unique but it's doing all those common things right so I'm really enjoying it. Chaika's speech pattern isn't annoying yet, I was expecting to get annoyed by it after a while but it hasn't bothered me at all yet.

Solution - watch K-On and you won't need to watch anything else because it will just be a disappointment.

K -on is one of the ones on that list
Along with that Basketball anime (Murasakibara and Kise are p.hot)
And this one Muku told me to watch
And the one about the miserable lesbian magical girls
And part of me of starting to become tempted to add the booby knife anime to that list... Only for the nudist beach man and the hot guy with the mask.

1. That's a really weird way to describe that show.
2. It is so accurate though.

I'm surprised I even guessed that to be honest.

am i seriously the only person who's heard of doraemon

for god's sake it's been running since 1979
My Japanese prof used to tell our class about Doraemon, and draw him for us on the chalkboard. One time, my friend joined him and drew Kyubey.

Speaking of whom, yes, watch Madoka Magika. It's great.

No Game No Life may be my favourite show that's airing right now. When playing a game where you create things by saying them and the first to not say anything in 30 seconds or dies, loses; the first thing to create is obviously a fucking hydrogen bomb.

i finished code geass and gundam unicorn, now i'm all out of robots

please tell me the second season of k-on has mechs
