Pokemon X and Pokemon Y

first gym leader beaten

ive got fennekin and metapod

4 player matches? Like 2v2?

I don't have the friends to do that sort of thing. Wah. The friends that played Pokemon with me went separate ways. The person who got me into the Pokemon franchise is now an alcoholic, does drugs and has violence problems. He was still a pretty nice guy last time I saw him, but that was months ago randomly on the street.

idk about you guys but this super training stuff is pretty damn fun(and easy as shit for evs).

And is it better if I use earphones to chat

Not sure. As for using it, you just speak out loud.

so, where exactly in the game is
looker

Fly to the largest city in the region. If you haven't beaten the Elite Four/Champion, he won't be there.

have you beaten your rival in Kiloude City? Maybe you have to do that first?

So, I'm about 4 gyms in with Delphox, Mienfoo, Venusaur, Talonflame (new band name), Tyrunt (wip), and Lucario. I guess I'm doing good?

Also, I like the Battle Chateau because I get to beat up rich people.

Can anyone with rain in their games help me evolve my Sliggoo? I've been checking for like two days now and I haven't seen any

No, it needs to be evolved in natural rain. I've been checking all the routes I think it appears, but still nothing.

That's why Wikipedia has sources.

Well what is Bulbapedia going to cite as a source? Everything is coming from Corocoro first and when it's confirmed everything is coming from the game. Wikipedia amasses information on everything ever; Bulbapedia amasses information on the pokemon universe and franchise, and when they're gathering information about a single (well actually 2 but you get the point) game, the source is literally only that game. In order to get information from the game you kinda gotta......play the game. That takes more than the 1 week it's been out to provide anything substantial, accurate, and confirmed; much longer for decent walkthroughs. Things can surely be rushed out by anyone in the community, but again, I personally prefer actually having correct information and it's safe to assume that, as a community, they decided that's better too.

Anyways, Valerie is my favorite leader because she looks like a fashion demon and creepy and stuff and that's pretty great. I hate Grant because his hair looks really dumb. I pretty much base all of my opinions on looks and theme, so, ! I'm also having a hard time piecing together a team because I like too many things.

Vague pokemon I like:
Starter frog, crabbity crab, creepy kelp, evil hypnosquid, wizard/witch fox, cute tough guy panda, sassy cat, ghost swords, doomy the dino, ghost tree and ghost pumpkin, slimy dragon, and then whatever pokemon from previous generations are available aaaaaaaaaa

Why do all the new Pokemon I like have to be all Psychic-types? Trying to make a team is getting very hard when I want a psychic-type and I already have Fennekin.

Get a Ditto and you can mass produce the things if you want.

http://au.ign.com/articles/2013/10/15/pokemon-x-and-y-sales-figures-revealed

Nintendo has announced Pokemon X and Y have managed to sell more than 4 million copies worldwide in two days.

That was...not surprising. Now I want to know if it affected 3DS and 2DS sales.

I wouldn't be surprised if the profits drop, all because of that one game-breaking glitch.
I don't think the general public knows about the glitch, so it's a non-issue.

As for my Poke-journey, I just beat the 5th gym and am grinding my Vaporeon, but I'm reaaaaaaaaaaaly taking my time with this game.

Finished the Looker sidequest. That was fun.

i can't even find my rival in kiloude city
You have to do the the Battle Maison first.

Finally got Pokemon Y. YEAAAAH

Current team:

Sabrina (Meowstic) Lv. 31 Psychock/Shadow Ball/Charge Beam/some 40 power fairy move that's really lame
Jack (Pancham) Lv. 31 Low Sweep/Payback/Shadow Claw/Power-Up Punch
Patton (Wartortle) Lv. 31 Surf/Bite/Rapid Spin/Protect
Rosa (Braixen) Lv. 32 Ember/Psybeam/Flame Charge/Fire Spin
Anubis (Lucario) Lv. 32 whatever moves he starts with
Bunnelby Lv. 10 HM pokemon

I picked Fennekin because every single person I talked to chose Froakie, so I'll just trade with them. Besides, I genuinely like Fennekin's design. Also, Meowstic is a total boss. It's fast, has good coverage, can set up with Charge Beam... definitely my MVP right now. I'm probably going to not train Lucario, he's a little overpowered with the whole Mega Evolution thing.

I'm at the town after you get Lucario. Forget the name.

My problems with the game so far are:
- It's hard to find one Pokemon if you're looking only for that Pokemon, because there are so many possibilites in the grass. I had to search for at least 5 minutes just to find one Pancham.
- Fairy type is OP. Only weak to Poison and Steel? The two worst (and least common) attacking types? Yeah... that's messed up. Not to mention immunity to Dragon.
- Why did they nerf Steel type? Honedge would have been way cooler if he wasn't weak to Dark and Ghost now. On that matter, it seems that a lot of the old has been nerfed for some reason or other. Poke Balls also seem less powerful than they used to be. I don't know if that's actually the case or not.
- Horde battles can be really slow if you don't OHKO them all. Although I was amused by the Seviper hordes where one Zangoose always appears, and the Seviper all gang up on Zangoose and ignore you.
- On that matter, the game seems slightly slower than Gen V. It's not too bad though.
- The HP bars are tiny, which makes it hard sometimes to tell how much damage I really did.
- Some of the new moves seem a little overpowered. That Noble Roar move that lowers both Attack and Sp. Attack? Really? That's the only example I've seen so far, but I'm sure there's more.

Good things about Gen VI:
- Roller skates are nice, I must say.
- Ability to change your appearance? That's definitely a huge upgrade.
- Surfing is fast.
- I liked how they made the Cut trees actually really big and prickly so you have to cut them. That makes sense.
- There are so many Pokemon to choose from, so you can always have the opportunity to train your favorites.

I'll post more opinions when I've had more time to play the game.
