Pokemon X and Pokemon Y

One of life's small mercies.

Along with Steel also being super against Fairy, though that came at the loss of resists to Dark and Ghost. I say that's a more of a loss than a gain.

No, I don't think it did.

Ice Shard Mamoswine was a check to every single Dragon, and Steels walled most of them (except Fire Blast Salamence).

eh it seems good to me so far, plus the pokemon selection is way better than it was in black/white 1.

Music feels better too, and overall game feels more challenging, and quite frankly i like the fairy typing, its been pretty nice to pokemon like azumaril and gardevoir.

Plus the mega evolutions really help out some weaker pokemon like charizard and mawlie.

I like kalos alot more too, feels a bit more varied enviroment wise and i really like the towns and cities a lot more.

Only thing i dont like is the fact that grinding in this game is very painful.

Yeah, that's certainly true. Definitely Gen VI's greatest strength.

do not agree

It is a bit more challenging. It's nice. Except that I can't grind. : /

Hmm. I still prefer Unova. Maybe because 'MURICA.

The castles are kinda nice though.

well music wise, b/w was better with battles themes.

While x/y is better with field themes.

That's just me though so yeah.

How about Palkia, Dialga?

Hmm, yeah, I'd agree with that.

Though I haven't heard the Elite Four & Champion music yet, so maybe that's good.

I doubt it can match Unove Elite Four, N, or Team Plasma though.

Neither one of those is a set-up mon, so I don't see why you would ever have a problem tanking their hits as long as it's a neutral attack.

I'm going to attempt to use the Masuda Method and get a shiny Trapinch. Wish me luck. :posh:

Dragon also needed a nerf.

The Bug-type never deserved to be treated even worse than before. If anything, Bug-type attacks should be super effective against the Fairy-type. During the process, Bug-type Pokemon should be resistant to Fairy-type attacks.

I also don't like that the Steel-type is no longer resistant to Ghost-type and Dark-type attacks, but I'm guessing that that's done because of how highly resilient the Steel/Psychic-type was in the past; Bronzong was only weak against Fire-type attacks while having the Levitate ability. However, this does put an end to the Pawniard family's unique trait of having a double resistance to Ghost-type attacks.

Yeah, they messed up with the bug-type.

And I really don't find the Fairy type op. If anything, I feel like Steel types have more use.

I do feel that Dark type is a bit of a weak type now.

To make matters even worse, the Fairy-type also adds to the list of Pokemon who have "7" weaknesses. Tyranitar, Shiftry, and Terrakion are just a few examples of Pokemon who don't deserve any more weaknesses than before; it's bad enough having "6" weaknesses.

My team is all 82-83 now.

There is pretty much no where good to train.

However, I can get 135k-150k on each league or Le Wow run so that's pretty legit. And that's without any money O-powers.

I definitely think Bug needs a rehaul.

I mean really, stop making it basically useless as an offensive typing. At least it is effective against Psychic, Dark, Grass. Honestly, Bug type would have been good to have effective against Fairy as well.

Also bugs are fucking weak. Just take a look at these BST stats for fully evolved pokemon of some types.

Avg BST for Bug is about 447
Normal is around 470
Dragon(no suprise) is around 610
Fighting is 505
Poison is 472
Electric is 495

I looked at them all.

Bug has the weakest BST averages by about 25 points.

Also, the bug move pool is small and contains maybe 5 good moves(Quiver Dance, Bug Bite, Signal Beam, X-Scissor, Megahorn).

That's because the purpose of Bug-type Pokemon are to be the Pokemon version of a Crutch Character. Like some of the starting off promoted units in Fire Emblem. They evolve early, get good movepools, but end up being a lot weaker when your other Pokemon evolve.

Sure, there are some other good Bug-types like Heracross, but that's why the average BST is so low.

while i admit bug type is kinda here and there i still like them quite a bit.

Plus a new resistance to bug means little to yanmega.

tinted lens man.

But as i said there is quite a few bug types that are pretty damn terrifying.

scolipede to some extent, and ive found galvantula to be very useful.
