Does it have a ZL/ZR Button or just a Z Button?
Does it gain a Select/Home/Power Button?
Is the L/R Button still Pressure Sensitive?
Is the D-Pad Modernized?

I'll only get them if the Pro Controllers don't meet up to my expectations. (but they should, I just really hope they have a c-stick like kind of thing)

In previous games in the series, if you chose the red team in a team battle, your Mario would have been red. But now you can choose any color you want! The color outlining the characters will show their team affiliation.

it's an interesting change, although i do wonder what they'll do for wii u version, since it doesn't have the outlines (afaik)

My guess is the same effect that is used on Smash Balls but with a color indicator instead.

I doubt they're going to make such a major change like that. Maybe the figures can transport data or something.
