Did I say Daisy deserve better than Shulk?
I prefer Daisy to be revealed instead of Shulk, that's my OPINION.

One thing to note is that Platinum games has retweeted several Nintendo directs and none of their characters have showed up. Maybe it's not Shulk. Knowing Sakurai, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a red herring.

I think the difference was that Platinum Games didn't really have a character that was too valid for Smash did they? Bayonetta was a huge stretch especially considering Platinum Games is Sega's property even if Bayonetta 2 is going to be a Wii U exclusive. And the only other thing was Wonderful 101 which was somewhat owned by Nintendo. Which has already been basically deconfirmed with it's Main character as just a Trophy in Smash 4. Likely because it was a little too new. Meanwhile Monolith Soft is a 2nd Party under Nintendo similar to Gamefreak.

EDIT: That said it could possibly be a total surprise. I'm sure everyone was expecting King K. Rool or Dixie Kong last February. But instead we got Little Mac.

But realistically, I'm expecting Shulk to appear and I'll be a bit happy that a rep from a new series gets in. Even if I personally don't care for said series or character.

but did the directs they retweeted show off bayonetta (or wonderful 101 from before it was released)? just because they retweeted a direct doesnt mean its smash related. but this is only smash sooo its pretty likely if someones retweeting it they're gonna have involvement

We were expecting to receive 2D drawing references for Rayman, but to our surprise, they sent us data of a brand new 3D model that they rendered for this game!! And that was how this trophy was created. It takes a lot of work creating each model, so it's wonderful that the creators contributed their own efforts!!
