I definitely see Daisy making it in somewhere from Smash 5-8. Possibly even Smash 4 DLC. With Rosalina in and Waluigi transferred to Wario series, Daisy, Toad, and Bowser Jr are the only 3 potential Mario Newcomers left that make any sense.

Both Mario RPGs sold over 2 million copies. The Mario RPGs are still popular and have sold more than several series that are already in Smash (beyond trophies). Paper Mario is the main character of the highest selling sub-series of Mario RPGs. Daisy was brought back to give Peach a partner. She appears in more games, but she is usually Peach's partner and/or has the same or similar stats to Peach. I've already stated that she could have a unique moveset. I never stated that she probably will have a unique moveset. Also, how is she more important than Diddy Kong, Donkey Kong's partner and the main lead in a couple of games, Bowser Jr., Bowser's son and a major antagonist in several Super Mario games, or Rosalina, a playable character in Super Mario 3D World and a major character in Super Mario Galaxy (called by many as the game of the last decade)? Waluigi would still represent the Mario spin-offs whether he's a Wario character or not because he was created for the Mario spin-offs. He has become the face of them. Jigglypuff has a 75% chance of being female when you encounter one in the wild and all of the palette swaps for Jiggs are feminine. I think it's safe to assume Jiggs is female.

they might keep ness and jiggs secret until the game release. i'm glad they revealed falcon early just to calm everyone down (including me), he was definitely the most wanted veteran that wasn't confirmed yet
