Female Villager is missing from the picture, but I guess that's due to the fact there is no artwork of her.

So guys, how 'bout this for a video in the August Direct. A villain video.

It starts with Wario and Ganondorf duking it out (confirming them). Ganondorf has a brand new moveset. Suddenly, a another Challenger slams to the ground between them. Ganondrof and Wario back up. The camera pans to reveal the foe.

Funny, I had something in similar in mind to your direct idea and this trailer. I was imagining it being Link and one of the Fire Emblem guys duking it out with a sword battle. Just when they clash swords, Meta Knight appears from the shadows and knocks them both back, poking fun at him being overpowered in Brawl. Just as Meta Knight is about to land the final hit onto them, Shulk appears and does something. That something, I don't know, because I have yet to play Xenoblade, but judging from its appearance, the Monado isn't an ordinary sword.

Hopefully Jigglypuff gets cut. Sceptile deserves a slot.

Jigglypuff is part of the original 12, has a unique moveset, is insanely popular in Japan, had a large role in the anime, and can represent the fairy type.

What does Sceptile have besides being a grass type? We don;t need a grass type anyway.

Because they already decided they wanted to make OR/AS by 2012. They just didn't want to start working on it yet. Gamefreak plans ahead, you know.

Because 7 Pokemon reps probably won't happen and Jigglypuff is the first to go in my personal preference since I want Sceptile much more and slightly prefer Mewtwo over Jigglypuff.

Chrom would defiantly be the most relevant option for the slot but seeing Lucina (my favorite character) instead was a dream come true and I knew Robin would be a interesting choice of character and i'm gald Sakuri knew it was as well. Seeing two characters (never mind these two) from one of my favorite games was so unlikely. This has pretty much decided the game for me.

Also that cliffhanger at the end is another one of Sakuri's troll moves. He's so aware of how many people want that guy.

I desperately wanted Chrom playable. He would have been an amazing choice.

Just cause she has Marth's moveset doesn't mean she'll play like him. Marth has been changed this game to be a bit slower and more ground oriented. Lucina looks to be faster and more air oriented.

This difference will make their play styles completely different.

Honestly I don't care about Fire Emblem, I won't probably touch these characters. Falcon on the other hand, he looks awesome again, I hope he got buffed.

Anyways, I was so amazed that both Lucina and Robin are in it. I'm a bit saddened that Chrom is not a playable character, and I really wish that he was like a plaette swap to Lucina.

Also, he never specified Greninja, simply stating "Pokémon X and Y character" or whatever.

We'll just have to wait and see. The Chorus Kids will make or break the leak. Shulk's a pretty likely character as well.

as it was mentioned before, lucina does look like a semi marth clone. b-side and some aerials looks pretty much the same, counter is fine since ike also has that and hes pretty different from marth. ill def try her out tho but i hope she has some sick moves of her own and some gimmicks so i dont feel like im just playing marth in a female costume

robin is what ive wanted for a while in smash bros: the ability to use tomes. thats so fucken sick omg i cant wait to try him out. the final smash also looks pretty good, but im prety sure chrom fans are dissapointed hes not playable, but atleast hes somewhat in the game still.

Disagree heavily. I think Chorus Men and Rhythm Heaven in general is kinda questionable for a character rep. But at the same time we're on the lookout should a rep from those series of games does get in. And as for Shulk, you're underestimating the cult following that Xenoblade has had since it's release.
