I wish Roy would have returned instead of us getting Robin.
You would prefer a Marth clone instead of a completely new, unique character? If you had said Lucina instead of Robin, I'd understand, but this... doesn't make that much sense.

Hey I wasn't saying personally that I think Wolf is a full clone. I was just saying what people usually say when they say they would like or wouldn't mind if Wolf was cut.

For me, personally, it's not so much because he's a clone (since his attacks are vastly different from how Fox or Falco attack, even if his special moves appear similar), it's just I would prefer Krystal, since she has the potential for a more unique moveset.

It's ironic, too, since I actually prefer Wolf to Fox or Falco.

Falco is cool but Wolf is unecessary for me, semi clones are okay but 3 is too much, especially when they all have the same final smash.

Actually if I may say one thing about Lucina and Marth. Custom Movesets may have the answer for people who'd like them to be even more different from eachother.

I kind of wish Lucina had been made more unique, but it's really not that big of a deal to me and i'm perfectly ok with her being a semi-clone
She's more of a clone as to a semi-clone.
clone would mean she's exactly the same. it's already been confirmed that she'll be at least a little different so she's at least a semi-clone.
If that were the case "Clone" wouldn't exist. 90% is still a clone.
to my knowledge the word clone means "exactly the same"

so a character that plays 90% the same as another character doesn't equal a clone character. if they play 100% the same as another character, then they'd be a clone.

Well then why do we bother using that word? A clone is generally a character that's roughly 100% with hardly any changes. Her specials are the same, for one thing. Even her animations are the same.
Are you just finding every way you can diss Lucina?

I'm trying to prove my point. Even the website agrees with me. It doesn't have her in the big "Newcomer" box because she would've been an alt costume if it weren't for extremely minor changes. Either way, she's a cool new edition, but not exactly a fresh, new character.

All I want now is Takamaru. Pretty sad Lucina is a clone they should of put Chrom in as playable but whatever...

Chrom has clone poteintial, but he still had a better chance at being a unique character than Lucina.

And only the Mobile site has the big newcomer spot. That still doesn't mean that Nintendo don't admit that she's a clone. Or "semi-clone", because she has three differences.

Lucina and Chrom are basically the same, just one's female, one's male. They both wield the same sword, the Falchion, both are lords, both have blue hair, and both are plot important characters in Awakening, so, no, Chrom wouldn't have had a more unique moveset.

Personally, even though they went with the blue-haired Lord swordwielder for a newcomer, I'm glad they went with Lucina instead of having another male swordfighter.

You're right though. They should aim for a female representative in every series. Although things like Kirby don't need one, as you wouldn't really care to notice.

Plus, we got Robin!

Pic of the day. The Levin sword and tomes are Robin's life lines. The Levin sword can be activated by using smash attacks--you can even activate these moves in midair! However, just like in the original game, the Levin sword can be used only a limited number of times before it breaks, at which point it takes some time to regenerate. When the Levin sword is unavailable, Robin fights using the bronze sword.

The way Robin launches Arcfire is kind of crazy—he or she calls down a bolt of flame from above, then launches a pillar of fire! By the way, Robin’s tome changes with each special attack.

Hey, I know nothing about Fire Emblem, so can someone answer this for me?

I've heard that Robin has this spell called Nosferatu, and I heard that it can also heal him (not sure how though)... o.o
If so, can someone point out where/when in the trailer he uses it? I don't know how the spell looks like. =P

I think Nosferatu flickers the lights on and off.

But yeah, Robin looks great and I can't wait to use them.
