Dreamy Luigi is also manifested from not only Luigi's dreams, but his emotions and love for his brother; always willing to help him out despite the danger. It seems the love he shares with his brother, mixed in with the fear and worry is the reason why he is able to transform into Giant Dreamy Luigi.

Maybe Luigi actually did blow up the Moon, and the Moon that we see in every other game is the fake one! Maybe they were both fakes! Maybe you're a fake! Maybe the entire franchise is a fake!

Or maybe this is just a piece of terrible writing.
 
I don't attribute this to one person, but back in 2006-2008, it was acceptable to write articles very, er, colorfully, to the point where goofy headers were a thing.

I sorta miss them, actually.
