post any random Mario thought on your mind

I've said constantly that Mario Party hates all of your guts. If you hate it, good, you gave it a purpose for existing.

I'd also love to have access to sound files, but only so I can find a way to replace a music. A custom-made soundtrack makes a game a lot better just as how having your favorite character be playable is a world of a difference.

Well ,i can say the same for voice mods.

Ever since i started doing the Rosalina voice mods , many people have messaged me saying ''Thank You so much!'' or ''Omg thanks this is soooo much better'' or '' Rosalina sounds way better with your voices''

That makes me feel like im not really doing it for myself , but others do enjoy it as well.

I have also forgotten about all of the contant nitpicking about it considering that once i replace them , i literaly dont hear the original version EVER again.

This is true for MK7 and Star Rush.

I love Kerri Kane , but even she admits she sounded kinda bad sometimes in 7 , and i agree , i mean When Rosalina wins in 7 those long WOOOOOOOOOOOO sounds are a no from me.

the rest is pretty much all right.

The same with Smith , certain sounds are way too exaggerated and bad sounding while the rest are ok to great.

Honestly , i think i prefer my custom Laura set for MK7 than Kerri's original. i feel it's more in-character for Rosalina.

That or Mercedes' set.

Oh sure, I am one of those people who thinks part of MP's fun is how it screws over everybody and that it ruins friendships.

Must be the same feeling I got when I replaced Mario's voice in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Smash 4. Big difference when DK, Diddy, and Bowser's voices were replaced too. And one more thing, replacing "sad" voices with the hammiest yells one can find (Mario's HOOOAAAUUGHT from Sunshine, Luigi's YEEEAAAAH scream from Luigi's Mansion, Peach's screaming from Super Mario Strikers (if that were possible), Daisy's NOOOO!! from Mario Party 9, Bowser's... every time he roars in pain, Donkey Kong's RRAAGHGHRUAAARGHGH from Mario Kart Wii, Wario's Waaaaahh! of despair from Mario Kart Wii, Waluigi's "WAHAHAHAHA-WAAAAH" from Mario Party 8, and so on) makes so much of a difference. It makes characters FUN to use and play against. Mario Kart 8's handling of how characters get hurt is crap because all the good voices are usually from spinning out from a banana peel / fireball. The other hurt voices just sound underwhelming.

And no other game has quite the same amount of infuriating moments. Kirby Air Ride, Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart are also reputed to ruin friendships, but Mario Party's sole purpose is for you to hate it thanks to RNG. You just have to love to hate it.

In Jeff's case he just hates it :P

I love watching him put through it and laughing at his misery.

Earlier I did some tests in Smash Wii U, in regards to how the Giant Special Smash affects the damage multipliers.

It appears that during a Giant Special Smash, all fighters deal 1.62x their normal damage, but if they acquire a Super Mushroom, then the damage multiplier gets increased to about 3.04x.

Sadly, giant Giga Bowser and giant Giga Mac only get the 1.62x multiplier, due to their inability to use Mushrooms, so Giga Mac's fully charged f-smash deals far less damage than a fully charged f-smash from a super giant Bowser. Heck, even super giant Ganondorf's Warlock Punch is more damaging than giant Giga Mac's f-smash.

As for the calculations...

Super Giant Bowser's fully charged f-smash: 23 * 1.4 * 3.04 = 97.888
Super Giant Ganondorf's Warlock Punch: 30 * 3.04 = 91.2
Giant Giga Mac's fully charged f-smash: 38 * 1.4 * 1.62 = 86.184

Needless to say, it seems that Giga Bowser and Giga Mac are more at home when everyone is normal sized, since the Super Mushroom only raises the damage multiplier to 1.56x in such conditions. Of course, the Lightning does increase the damage multiplier to around 1.84x if it makes fighters grow in size.

Good for him. He makes Mario Party fun to watch.

Though it was a little painful to watch since it's Mario being put through misery.

Well they played every console game once, you can find em on their website.

Each video is several hours mind you due to 50 turns for each game, which was never even the plan originally but it was suggested by Dan on the first video and he's the only one in the group who unironically likes Mario Party.

Dan Ryckert? A sadist? I don't know how anybody could have come to that conclusion....

Isn't he the guy who wins the most Mario Parties?

Correct. he wins about half of em.

Maybe everyone who hates Mario Party just isn't good at it. ;)

Just like how Jeff didn't think and didn't use the Mini Mushroom in that one clip in Toad's Midway Madness; if he used it, he likely wouldn't board the teacup thingy before the Waluigi guy did.

Trust me, there are some amazing moments of RNG in this series.

I saw a clip where Jeff got like 2 ones from a Mushroom and I was laughing at that.

When it smiles upon you, like that time in Mario Party 4 where I won first prize just from choosing the first scratch ticket. And then I somehow managed to get 999 coins in Bowser's Gnarly Party. I avoided Bowser like the plague (he can take half your coins if you pass his space) and even had to go Mini (where Bowser would transport you to Bowser and Fortune Spaces) to avoid it.

But I always hated Fortune Spaces, even though one helped me in Mario Party 6 at Clockwork Castle.

And 2 ones and a six from a golden mushroom.

"Oh but I got ten coins so that's cool."

Yeah it can be great when it swings your way.

Though I'm still of the opinion that by the end of the day nobody wins Mario Party except Bowser because win or lose he still keeps all that money he steals from everybody.

I've often wondered what a Baby Mario Party would be like. Like, the base characters, just replaced by baby counterparts. It'd probably be a handheld installment.

I'd play it.

I'd love that, but I'd miss the adult Mario, Luigi, Wario, Waluigi, and Donkey Kong though. Still, personally, I'd play the crap out of it.

Preferably the young Toadsworth from Partners in Time.
