I was never JC, only J- and J-Yoshi is someone else but I can't think of any others.
Why aren't there Rayman Origins clones. Just think, rather than another New Super Mario Bros., We get a Mario game that's in that style.

slams into post at mention of rayman origins
ive been wondering what a ubiart mario game would look like (just use the vector artstyle it should look great!) but if its even a crossover i think i would actually immediately ascend
honestly ill happily take any mario and rayman crossover cause im obsessing over both at the moment and ok so basically!!!!!!!
I always found 2019 to be an off year for Mario (really, only two major releases being, what, Super Mario Maker 2 and Luigi's Mansion 3?). I wonder if 2020's going to be better for Mario this year.

I didn't even know New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe released that year. It always felt like friggin' a 2018 port.

ive seen speculation on reddit back in 2018 prob that 2020 is gonna be a big year for mario so i hope it is. give me odyssey 2.......

@Dr. Peach I think they're not worth mentioning really

@ZelenPixel it might be also a big year for Nintendo since 2019 has been a pretty dry year for Nintendo. What big releases we got? Fire Emblem, yes. Link's Awakening remake? Eh. Astral Chain? Maybe, but seems pretty niche? Pokemon? Sure, but it's a crappy retread. Luigi's Mansion? Kinda niche to me.

Prediction for next Smash Bros. game:
    • 2/3 of the roster cut, including Captain Falcon, Marth, Ice Climbers, Zero Suit Samus, and King K. Rool. Corrin stays. Animation and texture quality cited as justification. Link gets an echo character, Dark Link.
    • 2/3 of stages cut.
    • Many items including Fire Flowers cut for no reason.
    • Recycled animations, facial expressions still limited as ever.
    • Everything freezes when someone goes up ladders.
    • Only Classic is the single player mode.
    • Frame-rate drops and pop-ins amuck.
    • Final Smashes completely gone, replaced by a souped up Super Mushroom.
    • Sound options have to be unlocked by KOing the 6th player two times in Brinstar.
Game generates record sales and positive reviews by critics, though fan reviews are pretty much binary.
Out of all item cartoon racers I've played, Red Shells still have the best tracking and the most reliable ones....

Crash Team Racing's Missiles miss way too many times.
Sonic & All Stars Racing's drones are way too slow and tend to miss a bit too many times
Diddy Kong Racing's Homing Missile's tracking is decent, but requires two Red Balloons to get, so not really reliable. It's also the only thing that can actually track in the game.
Sonic Robo Blast 2 Kart's Jawz tend to miss if you're pretty close to the racer since they can't turn really well. Not sure about long-distance tracking, but it seems like only the Spiny-Shell equivalent can really stop someone in first, as triple Jawz don't really exist (but there is Jawz x2).

    re: homing
the rare time blue shells miss. One time on MK7 there was one heading my way as I crossed the finish line 1st place and fell off a cliff all at the same time. The blue shell madly flew across the course over and over again in seemingly random paths ignoring the now back on the racetrack mario while it ask me to continue to the next race

Crimson Wisps in Team Sonic Racing are decent as long as you're within reasonable vicinity of your target.

Man, so are the freaking Red Shells still the only reliable tracking item?

I want this for the next Mario Kart, a two-in-one Mario & Luigi styled Mario Bros. character.
It's really odd why Smash Bros. gets almost no merch despite it being a very successful franchise. Amiibo has shown that merchandising the series is a profitable venture. Just imagine Smash Bros. themed Monopoly, Smash Bros. diorama merch, Master Hand plushies, Smash Bros articulate action figures that can equip Beam Swords and Motion Sensor Bombs.

I really want that last thing specifically, but the World of Nintendo action figures are close enough.

Even though I said that I am indifferent towards Mario, I just want you to know that I don't hate him at all. I very rarely choose him as a CPU opponent in the Mario Party games, and if I was allowed to choose the CPU characters in Mario Kart, I would never put Mario on Lord Bowser's team. I would only put characters that I dislike on the opposing team, and Mario is not one of them.

Well do you at least think Mario and Peach are cute together? I think so. I mean look at this picture. They're both making flower headdresses. It's not every day they're doing something like this together and it makes me happy.

Yeah, they are pretty cute together and I do sometimes put them on the same team in games like Super Mario Party and Mario Tennis Aces. I like this picture of the two of them together:

I like Dr. Mario being with Dr. Peach. Dr. Peach is indeed Dr. Mario's beloved companion. I like Mareach alot. I am indifferent to a lot of characters.
If you think Mario Kart Tour's subscription is horrid, Animal Crossing Pocket Camp's offerings are even worse.

Seriously though, screw subscriptions. Have to make monthly micropayments for Nintendo Switch Online, then for Mario Kart Tour, then for Animal Crossing, then for Pokemon Bank; all of this nonsense adds up.

Now imagine how badass it'll be if Mario announced for Dota 2.

It's weird that the two times I recall this game being ported, they were only on Nintendo consolds but they didn't keep this
My sister and I can become homeless if the FTC finds our one video where Wario scares the hell out of Mario and Baby Luigi "content made for kids" (it is not) and then subsequently fines us $40 k.

All this, it's about imposing control over content and stifling creators so only the biggest and ones with resources remain. Of course YouTube is going to try pushing responsibility to people like you and me rather than stop surveillance on everyone. Of course they're going to use beyond broken bots that always bring out false positives that have you lose a ton of money. Of course the FTC is pushing these horribly vague definitions of "child-attractive" whose net is so broad it can ensnare pretty much any creator.

    Well, I left a comment

I am a YouTube content creator and have recently been concerned about the news covering COPPA. While I do understand the necessity to protect children, the rules outlined on what constitutes children's content is vague enough to encompass too much content in YouTube. My content in particular may be affected by it since it concerns animation but my content is nevertheless aimed at a general audience that includes adults while remaining appropriate for kids to enjoy. I want to continue entertaining the general audience rather than produce more mature content for the sake of retaining ad revenue.

The suggestions to extend guidelines to "child-attractive" are too vague to actually protect children while it can and will confuse and hurt content creators, and I do not believe it is any way appropriate to enforce, especially when how it is enforced is also unclear. Finally, parents should be encouraged to use YouTube Kids and be educated on options how to protect kids rather than leave content creators to their whims. Content creators have no data on who watches their videos and should not be subjected to this regulation either.

Anyway, after thinking about this for a while, I don't think the FTC will go after me. They'd probably go after more deceptive and bigger channels. I'm still worried for YouTube's awful algorithms.

Pipe Land, on the other hand, keeps their Koopas chaste, and their expansive energy, as E Gadd's theory predicts, is manifested into what we're observing today.
People cite candy corn as a form of culinary crime but I find both red and black liquorice to be even worse. It's like eating a sticky funny-tasting coated wax, not even that sweet.
