Please tell me where you've seen these mystical reviews of his. Sequelitis doesn't count because it's not actually reviewing the games. On topic: Jim Sterling, he's one of those few reviewers that actually put out their opinions instead of regurgitated PR.

I actually didn't realize I said that, so to clarify, my point wasn't that you shouldn't own a Nintendo console, but limiting yourself to their games is bad, same would be just playing Playstation games or Xbox games or PC games or iOS games, everyone should try and seek out new experiences...

Replace Watch Dogs with Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Zelda has been slowly destroying all the things you mentioned, Skyward Sword getting rid of that big open world, and those challeging puzzles. And I don't know what games you played, but it was never about violence. Metroid is a shooter now...

I hope he starts getting the clones out, or give them original movesets. There's no reason for Falco to still have Fox's abilities, or for Ganondorf, the guy who has swords and magic at his disposal, to utilize a melee-based moveset.

Re: E3 2013 Super Smash Bros. 4 Discussion I think it's silly, at least we already know tripping and other ridiculous stuff like that are gone and the game is quicker than Brawl, so it won't be worse than that one for sure.

Seeing how this gen is shaping up, I'm willing to say Playstation is shaping up to be the console for gamers, all ages, while the Wii U is rapidly becoming a Nintendo/Platinum box and the Xbox is staying firmly as the dudebro console.

More and more the "kill millions of the same 3 guys" games are starting to turn me off inmediately.

Just for investigation purposes, why do you like it so much, apart from the music?

I honestly can't see Cyborg Ninja Gray Fox as anything other than the assist he already is, his moveset would probably just be a copy of Marth's moves with a blaster put in, and he isn't important enough to replace Snake himself.

what the fuck does that mean? That the character has sex appeal? Why are violence and sex on such different standards? And why does everyone act like Bayonetta is some kind of sex-infested woman-degrading porn game, instead of the SSS-grade action game in which the main character is a lady so...

I think the title should be changed, nothing can be more ridiculous than the Wii Fit Trainer. Wasn't that the other way around? I haven't heard any Nintendo fan complain that their console is getting one more game.

Metal Gear Solid V and Super Smash Bros U/3DS

For me it's just easier, cheaper, and saves me the little hassle of carrying game carts around, any time I want to hunt monsters or visit my village I can do it, but I can see why some people prefer physical media, and there's no smell like the one of a new game.
