So I've been messing around with some of the promoted units that join you later in the game and sadly not getting the results I was hoping for in the long run EXCEPT in the case of Libra who I reclassed to a mage after learning Renewal. Some training later and he wound up to be a pretty rad sorcerer w/ renewal, miracle, tomefaire, tomebreaker, and vengeance.

Not the best but still pretty damn viable.

I have two questions:

Do the challenge maps DLC (Five Anna Fight, etc) give any prizes for completing them or is it just one of those bragging right things that's like "I beat X map in Y turns"? I'll probably get it eventually, but I'm leaning more towards the Scramble Pack, which I've heard have some.........interesting conversations...

Secondly, aside from Aversa and Walhart whom I know have Shadowgift and Conquest respectively, do Emmeryn, Gangrel, Priam, and Yen'fay actually have any character-specific skills? I've actually never tried those four's paralogues and I deleted the file that I had unlocked the paralogues on because it was terrible.

With the hard ones, you get DLC characters (the 3 pegasis sisters) but only if you complete the objective rather than just getting through the level.

I personally reccomend the scrambles or the either smash brethen, lost bloodlines or rouges and redeemers as you get the special classes and limit breaker for them.

No, iirc. However, Emmeryn has mage skills despite coming from the cleric line.

Keep in mind that if you want to recruit Yen'fay, you'll need to have Say'ri speak to him during the level.

Since I have hit a wall with my current playthrough, I have started a new hard/classic one where I am going to give more fucks about skills. I have even written down my pairings and some of the skill sets I want some units to have.
I am up to chapter 5 on it at the moment.

galeforce for everybody just sounds very very very tedious.

I know
I I had Inigo with that last playthrough before he was even limit broken. It was so great that I am going to make Chrom the dad to do it all over again 8)

My brother is still ranting on about how I should marry Gangrel this playthrough as its what 'true players' do and that 'it gives morgan the best stats' when really it doesn't.

I hear a Gregor or Lon'qu fathered Yarne would give Morgan the best stats.

Never tried it, though.

I'm planning on going for Chrom fathered Inigo as el Husbando this time around. I have never married a kid before and Chrom!Inigo is really powerful and I like Inigo even if you guys don't.
